FOR THOSE WHO KNOW THEIR NOA2 SHIP DATE TO NVC

could you please @ me?

Im looking for trends on when they send their shipments because I do know they send in bulk.

So based on when USCIS told you it was sent and based on when NVC said it should be there, maybe we can determine a rough estimate for when they ship?..

ie: approvals 1st through 14th get shipped on the 15th and 15th to the end of the month get shipped the 1st of the following month...

  •

where can i find the ship date?! we received our noa2 hardcopy yesterday and it says "we have sent the original visa Petition to DOS"..."The USCIS has completed all Action; further inquiries should be directed to the NVC".

I just realized on my petition for Brasil, I indicated the embassy as Sao Paulo...at the time, i did not k ow it was Rio that handled the K1.

Does anyone know if I have to call to get this corrected, petition is approved, still early in trip to NVC?...Will NVC know to send to Rio....or might it get sent to SP and slide down a rabbit hole?

Hello my friends,

June 9 filer. We've been approved in January 02.

I've been reading all the comments about the long waiting from USCIS to NVC and I don't know if I'm being too much of an optimistic person but I feel NVC will have our case before January ends. I'll let you know if my feelings turn out to be correct. :D:D.

Don't lose faith, folks. It's obvious they're not updating the approvals online. So remember, perhaps your case has been approved today but you won't know it until you receive the notice within 3 to 5 more days.... your approval notice may be on its way right now. So, don't worry and be happy.:jest::jest:

Hi, And congratulations, how did you find out about your NOA2? just by mail and has it been updated on their web site? it seems the only way we are going to have any idea what they are doing in the USCIS is from RFE and Noa2 posted here.

Ah, gotcha. The article wasn't really clear on the "when" part. I suppose you mean the green card interview stage? Makes sense. But just to follow up - they're not ONLY collecting information on the petitioner at this stage, are they? I thought they did some sort of screening of the beneficiary as well. I know they have a backlog and all, but I can't imagine it's taking this long to just look at their own citizens.

Some people get it after their interview (k1 too) it causes delay from what I've read. I can't remember the name of the form (maybe ds2020?) check it in the forum if you're interested.

(sorry I'm tooo jet legged to find 😞😣)

One question I've never asked and am wondering about... When do they actually ask for proof of the petitioners income to meet income requirements? Savannah recently got let go from one of her jobs so now she just about meets the requirements. Anyone know more on this?
