Is there ANYONE who got approved in November that has their NVC number already? This is getting kind of ridiculous with people waiting 40 days. I'd understand if it was an anomaly but it clearly isn't.

I really want to know that too. It seems like we are going to wait a month or two for our NVC number. :(

just check about the noa2 expiration dates and how it works. I know you need to schedule your interview in 4 months but I don't know how scheduling it for a date that is after 4 months work.

Thanks so much

You can schedule your interview before your Noa 2 expires and the k1 visa expires 3 or 6 month before it's issued.  I not completely sure but that's what a cousin of my told me. She did this process last year

Thanks alot

Called NVC about 30 minutes ago, and i spoke with a Officer in Spanish ( i just feel they are more understanding and polite) but i told him i been 3 weeks waiting, and he told me to try next week. I dont know what led him to give me that answer but maybe they are expecting a shipment just like other users have mentioned. Feeling optimistic about next week now.

Hi Friends,

I wanted to give another NVC update.  I'm thinking with the delayed times we should keep communicating with each other as much as possible.

We just passed the end of week 5 of waiting yesterday.  When I called on Monday, a guy names Nick informed me that they receive "like literally truck-fulls" of mail everyday and that's why it's taking so long.  Tonight I was talking to a different person...I think Paula was her name.  She was the first one to mention to me that I need to prepare to send in my NOA2 next week so they could investigate for me.  I then said, "Ok, Paula. You know we I-129f folks talk.  I know that the people the week before our NOA2 approval (i.e. the week of October 25th) got their NVC number roughly two weeks ago.  I also know nobody from November has been processed.  You're starting to freak me out.  Where are our cases?"  Paula laughed in a good-nature way and said she knows we talk.  She then said that USCIS sends the NOA2s to them in batches, and sometimes that's just how these things fall. She said it's possible we just caught in the next batch.

So I find this interesting that some people are being told they're receiving mail everyday, and I've heard from "Paula" and other sources that they're sent in batches.  Perhaps they wait to send a batch of i129fs every 6 weeks and they sent the last one just before the final week of October?  If so, then our cases should be sent on Friday, December 15th. Thoughts?

haha, i called them 5x today, and all of them told me in a very polite manner that they dont have my case yet... and also make me send the nvcresearch thing as well, i called 6am, 10am, 1pm, 3pm and 6pm central time, they said they understand that i am past 6 weeks and the lady on my 1pm call said that i can call later coz they are all working till midnight tonight, she literally sounds like they are required to work overtime this week or just this day in particular, the 6pm also told me that USCIS is the one running behind.. i would also call tom again.

It depends on the type of employment.

But it could be employment letter, last 3 pay stubs, bank statements, past 1-3 tax returns.

All sponsors must submit the following documentation with their Form I-134, Affidavit of Support:

1. Proof of current employment or self employment. A letter from your employer on company letterhead showing your income is good evidence. You must also include at a minimum your last four pay stubs.

2. A photocopy or an Internal Revenue Service-issued transcript of your complete Federal income tax return for your most recent tax year, or an explanation if it is not submitted. If you are self-employed, you should have completed one of the following forms with your Federal income tax return: Schedule C (Profit or Loss from Business), Schedule D (Capital Gains), Schedule E (Supplemental Income or Loss) or Schedule F (Profit or Loss from Farming). You must include each and every Form 1040 Schedule, if any, that you filed with your Federal tax return. If you don't have a copy of your tax return, you can order a transcript at no charge from the IRS here: http://www.irs.gov/individuals/article/0,,id=110571,00.html

3. Your W-2s and/or 1099 forms (photocopies only, not originals).

4. You may also, at your option, submit a photocopy or an Internal Revenue Service-issued transcript of your complete Federal income tax returns for your second and third most recent tax years if you believe these additional tax returns may help you establish the ability to maintain your household income at the governing threshold set forth in Form I-864P, Poverty Guidelines. You can see the Poverty Guidelines here: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-864p.pdf
.
5. Occasionally a consulate will ask for your last 6-9 months bank statements, especially if you are self employed. If possible, you should go ahead and include these bank statements just in case. The Form I-134 must have your original signature. This means you must sign and mail to the alien. They will not accept a scanned or faxed signature! If you are using the income of persons in your household or dependents to qualify as a sponsor, you must also submit a separate Form I-864A, Contract Between Sponsor and Household Member, plus all of the evidence listed above for each person whose income you will use.

One doesn't necessarily exclude the other.  The can send NOA2s in batches... every day...

Also "every day" could  mean "almost every day" or "very frequently"  At the end of the day they are busy and overloaded and the best we can do is just wait :(

I know calling them has revealed alot of useful information, however I haven't seen a single solid evidence that calling helped expedite someone's case.

Again, I don't mean to discourage anyone from calling, I just don't think there is a chance of this process getting any faster :(

I have a B1B2 visa (my country doesn’t allow ESTA) and I have visited twice since we received NOA1, but my question was more specific to visiting once you receive the NOA2, have you also done that? Thanks!

I didn't get noa2 but from what I've read it should be easier.

You have everything ready. it is obvious you will go back to the interview and medical even if they ask.you already went through the legal way and wait the wait.

However don't take too much documents or things that may make them think you're moving there. Have noa2 copy on your phone so you can show.

This is how I think I hope you can find some example (did you check the "Yes you can visit" topic?)
