 Hello vscp

I HAVE A QUESTION AT THE LEFT BOTTOM OF NOA RECEIPT USICS NATIONAL BENEFIT CENTER  OFFICE ADDRESS IS OF  MISSOURI?  WHAT ADDRESS U HAVE? DOES IT MEAN FOR CHECKING PROCESSING TIME SHOULD I CHECK MO ?   I AM FROM CALIFORNIA. TAHNKS

Hi Sam82,

Yes, the NBC is also know as the Missouri Service Center. Your 131 and 765 applications will likely processed and finalized there. The 485 will be prepped and reviewed there but then transferred to your local USCIS office for processing, interview (if any), and decision. Therefore, processing time for the 485 will likely be dependent on your local USCIS office instead.

HI everyone, my package got delivered and signed by JC on 7/5, however it's been 12 days and I still haven't got any text/email receipt, nor has my check been cashed.

Seeing lots of July filers having their package delivered later than 7/5 but already got all the update, also done lots of online research, I'm almost 100% sure my package has been rejected by Lockbox at Chicago...However I haven't got returned package to my mailbox either.

The only thing I can think of that I did wrong, is that instead of writing one check for $1225 for I-485, I wrote 2 separate ones, $1140+$85. Although people told me that those 2 separate checks worked for them, I still am not confident that the person who reviewed my package liked it...

I sent an email to LockboxSupport@uscis.dhs.gov and hopefully can hear back from them about what happened with my case...

Fingers crossed. It's a real struggle daily to see nothing change on my bank account & quiet email/phone.

:(:(:(

7/20/17- Mailed application package out(I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765)

7/22/17- delivered to USCIS Chicago office

7/29/17- received 4 text/email receipt with case number

8/3/17- received 4 mail receipt

8/4/17- received biometric appointment letter for 8/15 in San Diego( so much earlier than I expected!)

I'm sorry you haven't heard anything yet. It's so frustrating when you have no control and have no idea what's going on.

I've also read it's not a problem sending two separate checks. In fact, I was nervous about sending one...afraid the particular person reviewing my file wouldn't realize I combined payments (even though I noted it on my cover letter). It's easy to get paranoid about those things when it comes to immigration! Lol!!

I'm hoping you will get some good news this week! Keep us posted!

Hello. I am strting this thread hoping that I would meet some of the members with the same experience as to filing AOS July 2017. Is there anybody who just filed this month? Let's exchange case progress and hopefully help each other to be a little comfortable in waiting. I have my timeline on my profile but here is a quick summary:

2017-07-05 : Mailed I-485 package

2017-07-08 : Delivered

2017-07-12 : USCIS acceptance and case routed to NBC

2017-07-16 : Received E-notification from USCIS

Thanks and I'm really hoping to hear from other July filers!

I wouldn't stress out too much as of yet. There were two different Chicago addresses people could send their packages depending on the delivery service they choose (I was wondering which would be the more direct one when I sent in my package this time). I also remember feeling like I was always a step behind everyone during the I-129 K1 process. Also its summer time, many employees take vacations over the summer. If your packet is in a pile with someone who is spending the week at the beach with their family, it will be a little longer.

Our paper NOA1s came in the mail today. All 4 of them! Informed Delivery was great.

6/30 - Mailed Out (I-485, I-130, I-131, I-785)

7/3 - Received and Signed by JC & Priority Date

7/10 - Texts/Emails Received

7/11 - Checks cashed ($1225 and $535 for I-485 and I-130)

7/15 - NOA1s Received

My priority date was the date they received (7/3) and not the date they cashed checks or sent texts. Hope that helps relieve some anxiety.

Hope the biometrics notice will come soon! :)

Happy weekend all.

I'm "desperately curious" lol, we filed my AOS package having my husband's name on the sender. Will the USCIS send every notices on his name too or my name? I'm asking because I use informed delivery of USPS too although only my husband's I can check. For some reason I keep trying to activate my own informed delivery but it keeps not letting me validate my identity.

Informed delivery will alert you to any mail which is received at the house. I signed up for Informed Delivery in my name but my wife's letters are shown as well as my own, in the informed delivery email.
