For those people who haven't sent their packet yet, be sure to use the latest form I-485 the 18pages , I know someone from AOS in FB group her application was rejected because she use outdated form edition has expiration August 2017. IDK I know its not really outdated coz its not expired yet. But hers was rejected.

That's sad. I filed mine with the old forms and they accepted it. I was actually scared at first, although it said on their website that old forms will still be accepted until some time this August, I took the risk. Thank God that they did accept it.

Yeah lucky they accepted yours. She sent hers July 11.

So now, she's filling out forms over again and prepare other requirements. All papers on the packet have stamps. so back to zero.

My story is I came with K1 visa. Been out of status for almost 4 years, I just filed for AOS this month. I sent my first package in May, in a rush ( that was a stupid thing to do ), and we just moved. I filled out the first package wrong so they sent it back to me. They sent it to my old address and got lost in the mail since we don't live there anymore. AND my check got cashed by someone else and there goes my $1225. We reported it to police but there was nothing they could do because no one lives in my old address, someone actually just stole the mail and my mail was in the wrong place at the wrong time. My fault, we forgot to change my address with the USCIS. So there it goes, filed again this month and so far I'm waiting for my NOA1 in the mail. Good luck to all of us.

awww sorry for the $1225 that has gone.

Well goodluck to all of us. Another crazy waiting game

When did you file your package? I was all worried as well when I haven't received any e-notification. I said ( Saturday) I would call them on Monday but I got their SMS and email on Sunday night. Don't lose hope.

USCIS received it at the Chicago office last Wednesday July 12th, so tomorrow it'll be 1 week. I hope I hear something soon!

We got the SMS messages and emails stating our I-485, I-131 and I-765 form were accepted last night. I keep checking the USCIS website with our receipt numbers but they are saying the numbers are not found. Is there typically a delay in tracking the packages on the website?

In the TXT/Emails it says to wait until you get NOA1 to sign up online

For FedEx, UPS, and DHL deliveries:

Does it mean sending the packet to FedEx, UPS and DHL is much faster than USPS? We are submitting my application next week.

I sent mine via regular mail, those with tracking numbers, 07-05 and then it was supposed to be there at 07-07 but it arrived in the lock box the next day 07-08. Regular mail isn't bad at all. But let's wait what those people who sent via Fedex and DHL will say. I think theirs is a one-day mail.

My husband was over it. And he paid for it. I, on the other hand, is still not. lol. Really hoping for a smooth process from now on.

So I am right it's a one-day mail! Haha, I paid $7 for the USPS 2-day delivery. How much was the Fedex?
