I am wondering what is going on with my husband's case. His has been stuck on "Oath Ceremony will be scheduled" for months since he interviewed in early March. We are an August 2019 filer.

Anyone on the same boat as us? We have tried calling the USCIS number but they just tell us to wait but others who are now interviewing are already getting their oath ceremony the same day. Something doesn't seem right.

Yeah something does not seem right. You should keep calling them and let them know people who are interviewing now are getting oath ceremonies before your husband. I interviewed on July 24 and my oath was on July 31. I know many people who interviewed at the Fairfax office and got oath scheduled the following week. Good luck

Yay!! Thank you @Valor. Do you mind if I ask how far is your scheduled interview date from the date that is reflected on the regular mail that they have sent to you? Would like to have an idea on how many weeks do I still have to prepare and study. I am so anxious. 😥

I was able to check the interview letter online the second day after my case was updated. The mail arrived in less than a week. I had around four weeks from the day the case was updated. Good luck!

Hey just a quick update my interview's scheduled, hope you hear something soon.

I got my interview notice on Monday! Very end of September.

Question for anyone with pending I-751 who has interviewed at the DC office since they reopened - did you bring your spouse? My N400 interview letter doesn't say a spouse is allowed but what if they need to speak to them for the I-751?

The I-751 is a joint filing, so your spouse is almost certainly required for the interview if it's a combo interview.  If you don't bring your spouse, you're pretty much guaranteed an indefinite wait for the N-400, as it cannot be adjudicated before the I-751.

When did you file the N-400?  Could you please fill out your timeline or add yourself to the spreadsheet:

Thanks!

Sure I updated the spreadsheet.

Oh yeah I totally understand that they may need to do a joint interview with both of us for the I751. I will bring my spouse who will wait outside if not allowed in. I was hoping to hear if anyone else here was able to bring their spouse into the building recently, mainly just for reassurance :)

I did. a joint interview and my husband wasn’t asked to join me. I was sweating the interview because my husband is stationed overseas (and we are stationed overseas with him) and he couldn’t come to join me. But I/ hewas never asked.

Oh cool, thanks for posting this! Did you have to answer questions for the I751 and then for N400, or did the interviewer not ask anything at all about the I751?

He didn’t ask me anything at all about the I751.  Not sure if I got lucky?
