I have filed n400 in Washington DC field office on 27 SEP and still no massage from them. I’m under 319(b) and trying to get my name changed. Is that the reason I still didnt get interview schedule? I called to military hot line once in Feb and they said all I need to do is just wait till they send me the letter. My estimated completion time on uscis says in July and still got nothing. Where can I ask about this? I’m so frustrated.

I understand your frustration and I am not an expert to answer you. However, my perception is that N-400's with a name change take (a lot) longer.

I am not sure about 319(b) but I had filed my n400 with name change as well, processing times are same - it takes longer to schedule oath ceremony since name changes needs to be done in front of the judge. Virginia's eastern district court(Alexandria Court in my case) does naturalization ceremony every 3rd Thursday of a  month. But due to current Covid-19 shutdown there may be further delays...

Yes the officer gave me option to do either Friday July 31 or in August. I told him that I am available on Friday. So he gave me the oath ceremony notice right there after the interview.

That's awesome and thanks for the update.

Honestly, with the USCIS furlough that's very likely going to happen at this point, I have no idea how many more months it will take for my interview to come.

I just saw in the news that the furlough is postponed to August 31 and they might get the bailout money by then. So no worries, I don’t think they will be a furlough even after August 31. They will find a solution with congress by then.

I had my naturalization interview on July 17th. at USCIS Virginia - Washington Field Office.

My N400 was approved there and I am expecting when they gonna schedule my OATH.

It seems like with the last news about USCIS, it will take it more time for scheduling the Oath.

Hey. I had my interview on July 24 at Washington DC field office as well and the officer scheduled my oath in front of me for July 31 this Friday. He printed the oath notice and gave it to me before I left the office.

You are lucky. Congrats!

TBH, I am nervous now. IS there something wrong with my case... and that's why my "case was submitted for quality review".

This is what they say in my case history on uscis  website.

Hey i had my interview today and see the same update on my account..

I'm in line for oath ceremony. too. Do u also have a name change ? I've  name change and thats the reason the officer couldn't schedule a date for oath ceremony for me and asked to wait to get a letter from USCIS regarding my date..
