Sorry but I am not buying the story that such an important package was lost.

But how can your fiance easily drop such an important file on the street.. Was he drunk or what? I honestly don't see any way forward. Sorry I can't be any hopeful

Well someone isnt immigrating.  Highly suggest contacting the embassy.

How can you drop a huge package with a ton of papers in it that is heavy and not know you dropped it? I call BS. Your fiancée had to know to guard that with her life.  Did you try calling the police stations?

my thought too! 

 

It's really big and hard to lose it and not feel it.

That envelope was the most precious thing in the world and I didn't let it out of my sight until I handed it to the border agent.

 

There is no way I could have dropped it in the street and not notice, it's a big bulky envelope!

Any updates, OP?

 

That package is extremely important and vital for immigration, without it you might as well have tossed your entire case in the trash as there's more than likely documents in there that haven't been duplicated. I guarded my case file with my life, especially since it's worth more than money and very priceless.

03-19-2021: Officially an American Citizen 🇺🇸 Entire journey from initial K-1 Visa filing to Naturalization took 5 years, 8 days.

Even IF they would find the package it's likely that they have to start the whole process again. If someone opened the envelope and/or took something out of it...sorry but how can someone carry this important envelope around and not leaving it at home in a save place???

08/26/19: received extension letter in the mail

05/29/20: New Card Got Approved

06/02/20: We Mailed Your New Card

06/03/20: The Post Office Picked Up Your New Card

I easier to find the car than the package.

Seriously I'm pretty sure they have to start all over again...sorry for them but this was just stupid.
