You have to fill required forms and do the taxes. It's up to you who will pay the fees. When you recieve an e mail from NVC you can sign in to the ceac.state.gov and start filling and uploading required documents listed on the home page.

Okay so my fiance is Serbia and my Serbia is really bad but can i get some help as to how to prepare for the interview after you get your NOA2?

It will probably help you to check out the guides for K1 visa.

Hi,

My Serbian husband and I are at the NVC phase, we are using CEAC. Our police certificate issued from Nis was rejected. I called the NVC, they said that the template they use to compare police certificates to didn't align perfectly with the one we submitted. I'm trying not to panic, but we have to go back to the police station and provide a certificate that matches perfectly to their template (which she could not provide an example of).

Can anyone please share an example of their police certificate that was accepted by the NVC? We need to know EXACTLY what we need to bring to the police station in Nis. The one that Nis gave us is not accepted by the NVC because of the order of the words.

Specifically, she said that the first paragraph should begin with "ministarstvo unutrasnjih posolova" and not "-odeljenje za analitiku", which ours did. The NVC also said there was a missing paragraph on ours but that everything else aligned perfectly. My husband will go back to the police station to request another police certificate but we are worried about getting the same exact one again. The NVC lady said we might have not asked for an immigrant visa one, but we did, we paid 830 dinars and everything else on the certificate is exactly as it should be (it even says that this certificate is for immigrant visa purposes).

If anyone can help us, please do. I have looked online for an example of the exact correct police certificate from Serbia that the NVC accepts and I can't find one.

THANK. YOU. SO. MUCH. Omg. Ours is EXACTLY the same, except that first line before -Odeljenje, the issuing authority is missing. I don't know why. We can take this to the police station and have them fix it.

THANK YOU!!!! Mnogo Vam hvala!!!!

Gde ste ljudi? 😁

Zdravo Sanja,
