Based on the reports from the November thread, it looks like it takes around 80-90 days for the NOA2 :( We all need patience and good luck! Hopefully our cases will get approved soon

This sounds about right.  We are on day 83.  Hoping for speedy approvals for everyone here.  :)

HI everyone, filed our K1 application on Dec 15th to the Texas lockbox received on Dec 23rd (got a return receipt text from usps, confirmed by USCIS receipt.)  got an email notification on Jan 5th. Received the I-797C (NOA1?) receipt on Jan 9th. Case transferred to the Calfifornia service center. Okay so here's my question what day do I use to start counting? My Fiancé is an OFW in Singapore and she thought her work contract was going to finish on May 7th. Now she realized that the contract is ending on April 7th. There is a possibility that she could be extended for 30 days but I'm afraid that's not going to be enough time. I know that the Singapore Consulate processes Visa applications faster than the Manila Embassy due to lower amount of Visas going through it. I'm worried that we may have to transfer our case to Manila which could add months to our process. Please pray that they speed up approving applications and we all get to be with our loved ones as soon as possible!! God Bless us all!

Thanks for any input, Jon & Malen

Welcome to the forum. You can also follow November forum as the USCIS is currently working on a lot of petitions from mid-November. The VJ timeline uses your NOA1 date on the statement mailed to you. Unfortunately the USCIS app uses the date your application was received by the lockbox. If you put the NOA1 action date it should give you a pretty good estimate on when you will get your approval. Don't put your receive date as it will give you a unrealistic result. Good luck.

April 22, 2020 - I-751 sent

April 23, 2020 - I-751 received at Lockbox

April 29, 2020 - Check cashed
??? - didn’t receive text or email confirmation. Ugh!

Thank you! I already joined that group too! I wish my fiancé had some Ruby slippers so she could click the heels together three times and say " there's no place like my new home!" And poof she's by my side! ?

Hi all, this may help you out on getting some perspective. The below link shows how many applications are left for November until December is reached. Good luck!

Are you certain that is for the entire month of November submissions. It appears by the heading that is for submissions received on 14Nov2016 rather than the entire month.

In November filers' thread I read that 45% of November application have been worked. Hopefully, they will be done with November applications by the end of this month and will start working on ours... If I am not mistaken there were around 4900 cases for the month of November

I'm thinking there were a lot more than that in November. One of the November people runs a scan daily. One day had almost 400 submissions.  Either way the process is moving and at some point ours will be completed and our better halfs will be with us

@Kevin&Kanyanat That is possible,  I am just going based on this data. It also depends of you are referring to all service centrrs. This is only for CSC. Do you have any data to provide us, that shows 500 apps being processed in a day? It would be useful

I believe petitions are only approved through CSC. Vermont and Texas I think have been closed since 2014

Just from what I've read all K1's are sent through CSC now. If you go to the November forum one of the members pulls data every evening. He compiles the stats of 5000 visa requests. As of yet he hasn't delved into December's I can't even imagine the mountain of data he goes through. It appears that on average here as of late right around 100 are being handled a day. This results in a portion being approved, RFE's and rejected.

I am by no means an expert on any of this so it's based just on what I have read.

The link is for November 14th only.  On November 14th alone, there were over 400 k1 petitions submitted.  Over in the November filers thread, Geowrian scans all of the November cases on a nightly basis and reports on the progress from the CSC.  The CSC handles pretty much all of the k1 applications.

Here is the data from last night:

Based on Geowrian's scans, there are currently 2107 untouched cases from November 1 to November 30th.  This does not include the many cases where requests for additional evidence were mailed; there were hundreds of RFE's in November.  There are also a number of outstanding cases from October, including 20 that were received on October 31st.

My fiancé and I have a received date of November 21st.  There are currently about 900 November petitions ahead of ours, but the CSC is not working cases in exactly chronological order, so we we could be approved any time (or we could have a few weeks or even a few months to go).  Currently, the CSC is jumping around a lot.  A handful of people with received dates in the November 20s have already been approved, while other people who submitted in early November are still waiting.  That being said, the CSC appears to be focusing on the mid-November range.  We're not sure exactly how they select which applications are processed on a given day.

Just checking in.  Hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day and hopefully this is the last Valentine's we all have to spend apart from our loves!  It looks like there was some good movement in the November filers.  Hopefully they can clear them out in the next few weeks and start working into December!  Hope everyone is hanging in there!
