I think the OP feels that since he FEELS certain things like religion should not be an issue, it is not an issue.

Obvisouly USCIs have its own opinion on what is an issue. And that is what matters.

Not saying that was the reason for denial, but you have to go in knowing what they are looking at.

In 5 years you visited only twice yet you financially supported her this entire time and put her child through college. This is why you were denied. I am surprised that you're surprised that her visa was denied.

You have been providing for kids, but are they with her at the interview, because if not, if she's the only one leaving it's looks like {for the CO} human trafficking. like she's just gonna go there to find work and send money back to her kids.

now that you've given a little more information.. i do think the fact you've been paying there child's tuition as a red flag as your helping to support them this would be different if you were already married and they were legally your step child but they are not... i do not the think the 5years together is a red flag on it own but the fact you were together 5years and only seen each other twice is a huge red flag... no matter how much evidence of phone calls, text messages, emails you can provide you need more time in each other presence.. its easy to type to someone but its another to spend time in there company.. Even tho it should not be the case i do think religion can plays a small part in it i think it depends on how good the rest of the evidence appears how much religion would factor into the case.. example if you have seen each other 6-10 in the past 5 years and aswell as over whelming other evidence then i think religion would play an extremely small part but due to the lack of that i feel like the religion is playing a bigger part in it since there actively looking for a bigger connection

Was your fiancee denied outright, or given a chance to submit more proof?

3 questions were asked and she replied them correctly. No she was not given a chance to provide more proof.

Well it is your perception and thinking. Everyone does not think the way you do? Perhaps CO thought the same way. But it is in my record now.

I have noticed another long term relationship here on VJ that was denied. One thing in common, only one or two visits in many years. If it were me, there is no way I could be without my loved one for 2.5 months.....much less 2.5 years
