Oh I've gone through a loss right in the middle of immigration. My first thought was to abandon my Green Card application so I could support my family. Not worry about immigration.

It just comes off really disrespectful to your fiance when you're already thinking about being petitioned by someone else and I think if you re-read what you wrote you'll see that too.

im not thinking about petitioned by someone else im done with this it was just worries i asked about thats it...

im not disrespecting my fiance i do love her more than anything and she is gone now and iam just trying to heal and move on for my life its not easy what am going through...

Send a letter and copy of death certificate, and Case number on the letter, explain what happened so your file can be closed. Yes someone can petition for you in the future, and if question is ask, just tell them all that happened, it will not effect your case if you are petitioned for again in distant future. But if it is very soon after this filing and delays, That is a HUGH Red flag.

Keep copies for your records too.

Sorry for your loss, take time for yourself, then get back into life, she would not want to see you miserable.

my visajourney friends, please, don't judge, cultural differences, love, immigration hopes ... it's everything there and all suddenly gone, all hope about love, family, future together, better life in America suddenly gone. When I was so sick this year, I did think about all of it, about my fiance life and his daughter, we got in arguments and we broke up in such a hard time for both at a long distance, we got back together fortunately and stronger than ever in our decision to build a family. I did think a lot being very sick and I realized if I died, I would like my fiance to find somebody else to love and to bring him to America because my love wishes him being happy and I wish better future for him and his daughter in my country. Please, don't judge
