That is interesting to hear about a case being transferred from the DC office - wondering if there is any chance that happened for us as well. We are in the same boat - got the NPIW letter in September, but still seeing that damn fingerprint fee status from June 4. Argh.

The best bet is to call USCIS and ask for your case status. I hope to hear something sooner than January 5th. My medical results expire in February and to be honest i dont want to repeat them and spend any additional $$$.

One would think they'd tell us, but nooooo...

Ironically, (you'll love this), I'm being considered for a job over at USCIS...called a Community Relations Officer. I laughed when I saw this. Easiest job in the world: go to work, ignore the phone/email, go home, collect a paycheck.

I'm just sayin'...

(I think I'd kill myself if I took the job...I wouldn't be able to do nothing and get paid for it.)

I wonder how many hours they work per week?

I had INFOPASS experience and I saw their business hour:

Mon-Fri - 8AM to 4PM

Friday only from 8AM to 11AM.

And the IO I had talked during my infopass just like a machine, he said " you are not the only one waiting, you should wait another 90 days, and all information I need he read and repeat from my online case status.

Nothing to help. My case was outside the processing over 3 weeks and then he said it's normal.

USCIS is ridiculous.

Yes, we are also concerned about the potential of the medical exam expiring. It's ridiculous to think that it would be necessary to shell out even more money because of delays on THEIR end.

Im also on the same boat. Medical will expire at the end of February and its been 3 months since they received my RFE. I tried sending an inuiry and they replied after a week. They said "Due to workload factors not related to your case, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case. USCIS is committed to adjudicating immration benefits in the order received and in a timely and effecient manner. We regret any inconvenience that results from delays in processing." I hope they finish all June AOS fillers by January.

I received the approval notice! It was dated from 23rd of December.

It says I will received my Permanent Resident Card (2 years) under 3 weeks. So I guess I don't need an interview yeah!

My online status still says "fingerprint fee received"

Merry christmas to all and I hope you won't wait too long.

It's encouraging to see an approval from the DC office - had you received a Notification of Potential Interview Waiver or did this just come out of the blue? Our timelines are very similar... hoping we get similar results soon!

For abbysimon, no I never received a notice of potential interview waiver. The last time my online status was "touched" was sometime in July. Today my online status changed to Approved and I received the email and phone notifications. I am watching my mailbox now!

I was collecting all the evidence of relationships from the trip we took to see his parents at christmas :D I guess I can stop now...
