Our interview was scheduled for yesterday January 27th at 12.35pm. We arrived around 12pm and there was a line up by the security checkpoint which took us about 10 mins to clear up. We were sitting at the waiting room by 12.15pm and there was a lot of people in the waiting room. We waited for about 2 hrs before a lady officer called us into her office. She asked us for our IDs and passports. She then went through the questions on I-485 and went through I-131 as well. She also asked us how we met and how we ended up here. At the end of the interview she told us we would get a notice in the mail and I would be getting a 10 yr green card as we've been married for two years now. I received a text this morning that my card was approved. Overall it was a pleasant experience

Congrats!

Anyone know what to make of the status on USCIS's website being changed to 'my name was updated'? My wife's case status changed to that last Thursday after sitting on 'we received your biometrics fee' for seven months. I'm hoping it's an indication of approval and that will come soon...I have to admit though that I was happy just to get SOME movement.

I just got a letter today with a request to submit more evidence that we're a real couple, and also submit form G 325A again, because there was something wrong.. First of all, why does it take them 9 months to notice that mistake on G 325A (I've already gotten 2 RFEs where that wasn't mentioned.. anyways) and second: How much more evidence do you need?

Anyways, it also said that my case was moved to San Francisco, so I'm actually hopeful that now, after I submit the documents, it will go faster.. I really hope to get my GC before June, that would be nice.

Congrats to everyone who got it already :)
Ans good luck to all the others out there waiting..

Question;

We received an RFE in December, they wanted an actual copy of my birth certificate, not a copy. I had to order one from Canada. I sent it in Feb 10th(To the LA office? weird). According to the RFE I had 87 days, or until March 9th for them to receive it. I called them yesterday as my online hasn't updated that they got it yet. The person on the phone told me it can take up to 60 days for them to register it in their system. Does anyone have any experience with that?? For people that have gotten RFE, what address did you have to send it to?

Still waiting...can't seem to get any answer either as to what the holdup is, where the package is, anything. Our 1 year anniversary of marriage is coming up in less than a month and we're beginning to wonder if he's ever going to be able to get a good job again. SIGH. Anyone else out there who sent in their information in early June that's still waiting?
