Facebook thats the one, where people tell everything about them selfs. They will write on Facebook what they would not tell there parents or there closest friends. One on the internet it will stay there for ever. This is also where the bad people look for suckers.

I'm curious as to how they access a FB account. If ur settings are for friends only to be able to view how do they find things?

Lots of people don't have their social media profiles set to private. So that's probably how they found out. A guy I knew lost his job because he insulted his boss and friends of friends could read his profile!

shes American .. pure american .not pakistani at all .. and why didnt they give me any sheet if they would put me in AP or somthing ?

She doesn't have a Pakistani background!! Yet you wonder why they questioned u like that?? How did u two meet???? Why an American woman much older than you??? Is this her first marriage?? Is this your first marriage?? Would you have married a Pakistani woman 15 years older than you??

They can find out anything they want to so it is not surprising at all,
if it's online or he had mail coming to her house or there were phone calls in the past then it's very easy to track it.

You are in AP and may be there for several months. They will not tell you how long it takes.
You can continue to watch the CEAC site for updates when they do something with your file the date changes.

It may or may not change to AP and you will be contacted when they are finished.

Don't worry about the age difference, they would be on it longer with questions if it still bothered them and you seemed to have answered that

ok.

OP is not here to be questioned and defend his choice of partner or who he would or wouldn't have married but to seek info on his case.

The consulate asked my husband about his ex-girlfriend and our age difference. I'm older by 13 years. They grilled him for an hour but all was fine in the end. He was totally comfortable with the questions. They let us file our waiver and now we're waiting. Everything will be fine. Btw..my husband doesn't have any social media and he wasn't even near his ex for like 5 years.

Me: i dont think so . age is just number the basic thing there should a understanding between us and we do love alot ..

Co : how many times you wife has been to pakistan

me: 2 times and duration is 2 months

then he asked so you know everything about your wife and then he drop the question right away

Co: how long your wife was with him before your marriage ..

Me.. i answerd correct ..

Me.. answerd

Then CO said okayt have a seat and we are gonna call you agian ..

After waiting for 15 minuts they called me and there was a pakistani guy asked me to give him all my evidence ,like Wedding pix honey moon pic call records wedding movie ... and then he told the same to have a seat and they are gonna call em back .. so again waited for 20 minuts

and then they took me into an other personal room .. there were Two people 1 pakistani CO and 1 American ..

they have started to bombing of questions continiously for 3 hours and i even cried there for a bit and then they said ...we are sorry but its our job and some times its good to cry at some places ..

Well, these officers sure knew "their stuff".,..,and how they got their knowledge is a mystery. I find it hard to believe that, it was on FB.,.,.,. there is a "another fly in the ointment".,.,.,., it had to come to the officers in some other way, just cannot see them sitting down, reading hours of chat on FB!

Just an opinion.
