Saylin please help seems no one is answering on me :(

Got cc and interview but I also received a checklist to bring a corrected I-864. Got 1040ez and put in AGI in my I-864. I have an issue before about my 2013 tax return filed as SINGLE but I sent a letter of explanation and my amendment is still on the process. I am a regular employee. I have my father as my joint sponsor and I also filled out I-864 for him and it's perfect so I am wondering why mine is incorrect when I'm confident enough that I did it right. I even rechecked my copy here and there's nothing wrong I saw. I went to IRS office yesterday and told me that my amendment tax is still on the process and I can bring the tax transcript where they put a mark indicating that it's still processing. Actually I filed the amendment on July 2014 and until now nothing. Do you think the CO will accept it?

What was your checklist for?

If you think everything is correct, then just bring what you have to the interview. They'll point out any mistakes and if need be, can correct it there. There's no need to worry about this.

My checklist is item 6 part 13.a.1. I believe I put in correct income.

Thank you so much for enlightening me Saylin. I really appreciate it❤️

Well, I can't really say whether or not you're correct since I'd need to see both your I-864 as well as your tax transcripts, but if you think it's correct, then as I said above, just bring it to the interview and they'll tell you what the correct number has to be.

I think I'll bring the exact copy of what I sent to them and another signed and completed I-864 but I'll just leave item 6 part 13.a.1 BLANK just in case there's something that need to be corrected on the original. Thanks Saylin!

Hello all, first time poster, long time reader of VJ - thought I would share my experience as that what makes this forum such a useful place!!

Our case is not expedited.

Preference Category: CR1 - CONDITIONAL SPOUSE OF U.S. CITIZEN

Priority Date: 25NOV2013

Original Scan Date = 20-AUG-14

60 day email Received = 22-SEP-14

Checklist Received = 20-OCT-14 (bang on 60 days at 5pm EST!!)

Checklist for the following:

1. 10 - UNITED ARAB EMIRATES POLICE CERTIFICATE - despite contacting the US Consular in Abu Dhabi to confirm I did not need one back in May the CSR at the NVC insisted it was need based on the DoS Website - will post in the regional forum how best to get this

2. Item 10. The current annual household income must equal the sum of items 5, 6.c., 7.c., 8.c., and 9.c. - silly mistake I know!

3. Items 13.a.1. The income you enter must match the total (gross) income reported on your most recent Federal income tax return. If you filed Form 1040EZ, use the adjusted gross income instead. - pretty standard mistake wish I had known about it before

Checklist Package Arrived at NVC = 29-OCT-14

Checklist Scan Date = 29-OCT-14

60 day email Received = 31-OCT-14 (some hope as this was way faster than before)

Will keep you updated on the progress of the Checklist Package for those interested.

Good Luck Everyone!

hi@all

My hubby filed I-130 for me and my daughter, USCIS assigned two case numbers. My case was approved couple days ago but i still didn't hear anything about my daughters case, send a e-request and got this for an answer " Thank you for your inquiry. Your case is currently being adjudicated. "

Now i'm confused, does it mean my case is shipped to nvc but my daughter is still at USCIS? How does it work? Maybe someone can help me out here, i'm so stressed out :(

PLEASE HELP ME

Been in the NVC since June 6th. I really can't wait to get done with them...

My AoS checklist scan date is October 21st. I hope I hear from them (with good news) before November ends. It's already been more than 2 months I don't see my wife.

Good luck to all
