I wonder if those who are not close to CC yet can access their payment portal. Just trying to figure out if it is a technical problem or something else.

I thought about that too, but I looked for some cr1 topics I didn't see anyone realized or complained about the website.

I couldn't wait till tomorrow to call them.

I did both name and fingerprint. I know it is more expensive but when it comes to this process, I feel it is better to give them as much information as possible, so I paid extra for the fingerprinting as well to cover all bases. Actually, I think because you are in QLD or NSW you are required to do it as name AND fingerprint. (link below)

I am in WA so mine was sent directly to me. If you get fingerprints, you have to call first and make an appointment to get the prints done. Then, once you send the application off it should take no longer than 30 days as per the AFP website. Mine came back the next week!!

Where is this information listed BEFORE you send it in and get a checklist though? What a joke. Sigh.

This says I need to go through the QPS. That takes a pretty long time; can I do the AFP thing (as that seems faster than the QPS 6 weeks) or will that just cause me to get another checklist? Why is this process so unclear? $187.30?! That's so much money when I don't even have a criminal history

The one I got also only has my married name. How can I be sure that the fingerprint one with QPS will also give both names?

I just did name check as well, as my husband's name isn't super common, esp in Aus

As always, please make your way on over to the new thread. This message is to EVERYONE. Every month, we all move to the current month, now December. For newcomers: this isn't like the I-130 filer threads where you stay in the same thread the entire time. For NVC filing, we move to a new month each month. Within a day or two, Ryan H will come along and lock the thread, preventing any new posts, so best to just move on now

As far as I observed, when I click "FEE" the web site returns the status code "302" and location header "https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx".

That means the site asks our web browser that "Hey, please jump to https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx".

In other words, the cite is intentionally making us jump back to sign-in page. I assume this is just because the actual content or the related database is under a maintenance.

Anyway, we would see NVC's answer shortly, whatever it is

What browser are you using? If it is Firefox it will not work only Explorer. Try that or maybe they just have not released it yet for you to pay.

I'm using Google Chrome and Safari and cannot see the page on either browsers.

That is one possibility that the site doesn't support some browsers but some people complain that they could see before and now can't see it, so I just wrote what I can see

I myself don't remember I could see the page before...sorry my bad memory..lol
