NVC Filers - November 2014

Welcome to another monthly thread for those going through NVC.

This thread is strictly for questions and progress. If you want to rant about this ridiculous process, please do so in this side thread here.

NVC will be closed on the following days due to federal holidays: Tuesday, November 11th and Thursday, November 27.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Before posting questions, please read the wiki I wrote on the NVC process here. Once you're done, read it one or two more times to really understand it ;) Don't forget to also read the official form instructions as well as USCIS and NVC's websites! The process has changed slightly, so please make sure to read NVC's website as the wiki hasn't been updated yet to reflect those changes.
UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE: Please read the update I posted here in regards to no longer sending original civil documents to NVC!!
For up to date time frames, you can view my spreadsheet here. Old layout is the first tab, new layout is the second tab labelled 'New 2014'.
If you want to see a visual of the NVC process, please view my flowchart here.
I will be much less active in answering posts in these monthly threads, so don't bother asking me questions directly and please don't send me PMs with questions. If you send me a PM with a question that can be posted here, I will NOT reply. Just post them here for everyone to see and someone will come along to answer. Remember to be patient (re: just post once and wait) ;)
And if for whatever reason, you can't find the answer, try searching both on this website and on Google. It's amazing what you can find if you search ;)
If you're wondering about time frames, I've got a spreadsheet available for a reason ;) And if that doesn't help, look at the fellow members right here in this thread! Study their signatures/timelines and make notes. VJ also has this awesome page. Use it! I sure did during my process :)
And once you've got a case complete, please join Dwheels's case complete/interview thread (currently December), here.
Also, please read Kanuk's post full of advice and observations, found here.
Important spreadsheet update!! As of today, I will no longer be taking in new additions on my old layout. I want to have everyone currently on the old layout finished at NVC before the new year. I will leave the update option obviously still available for those currently on the spreadsheet. If you use the update option to try to add yourself on the spreadsheet, I'll just remove you, so don't bother trying. So, from now on, I will only be accepting additions to my spreadsheet on the new layout. If you don't know yet, the new layout is much more extensive than the old one and it requires you to be up to date on things and to call NVC for specific dates. If you're not willing to do this, then don't even bother asking to be on my spreadsheet. I also issue my own version of checklists if you submit dates that don't match your timeline. And if it shows Armenia as your consulate and/or your timeline isn't completely up to date, you'll get checklists too. So, please, verify your timeline is correct before submitting a request. For those on the old layout, you can always switch to the new one, just choose 'add' on the new request form.
Old request form (to update only now) here
Old request form response sheet (to see if you received any error notes from me or if I simply haven't gotten to you yet) here
New request form (to add or update) here
New request form response sheet (to see if you received any error notes from me or if I simply haven't gotten to you yet) here
Another month at NVC!
I just noticed that it'll be exactly 30 days for my scan date on November 6th and my wife's birhtday is also on November 6th! What a gift it would be if we can get a CC. Highly unlikely but here's to hoping!
I don't think it normally takes the 60 business days. I would say 30 calendar days or less usually.
