Hang in there, it'll be okay!!! Your petition was approved in 46 days (according to your timeline)! ?

Congratulations, the hardest part is over!!! NVC will receive your approved petition very soon! Don't worry, all is well! ?

In the meantime, have you gathered up all the necessary documents and information for the next stage?

May God Bless You And Your Family! ❤️

Right, I know we're still lucky in a sense and hope all those people who filed before us will hear the good news very soon.

About the documents, already requested everything except for the Kuwait Police Clearance. Kuwait won't issue any clearances unless they receive a request letter from the requesting entity while US Embassy in Kuwait won't issue a request letter without an NVC case number. -_-

Not sure of name but yesterday someone from Tunisia replied to one of my posts and they filed in February and already his interview is done and cleared on Aug 26 I remember.

There are a few I saw got through Texas in 5-6 weeks based on timeline.

Yes, some February filers have had their interviews already, or have dates already. I hope to get my interview appointment at the end of this month or the beginning of the next (interview will likely be in November).

Don't forget that the DCF filers here show Texas service centre in their timelines because they have no service centre so the system automatically shows Texas service centre.

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Hope you get the interview date soon. Looking at your timeline, you case moved smoothly through USCIS and to NVC as well. In my case, I was approved after 6 plus months and now Nebraska has slowed down sending to NVC has frustrated me so much that's beyond explanation. I hope that Nebraska gets their process together. I ran lots of case number through app and found that they sent cases approved on 8th - 15th, not all and not sending our case, approved on 11th just scares me with worse possible scenarios, and thinking of longer wait is devastating to me. Anyways when I am frustrated and depressed I keep renting to all. Good luck to you and congrats on completing case with NVC.

There may be a few weeks until you hear something. My April 13 case was just approved last week and there are quite a few April and March filers still waiting. The good news is your time is quickly approaching. Good luck!!

Can someone help me with I-864 query? I-864 asks for last 3 years of tax returns, but I only have last 2 years of tax return and my current income is more than sufficient to sponsor my wife. The reason for not having 3rd year's tax return is that I didn't earn any income and my parents claimed me as a dependent. So is this going to be an issue? do I need to submit any additional documents? And for the questions where it asked if I filed tax return for 3 years, should I put yes or no?

Hi Mpshah, I am so sorry to hear that. Hopefully they gave you interview date that is soon and everything goes well. I just have one question, why do you think they don't believe your marriage is genuine. Did you not submit enough evidence?

i will pray that everything goes well and fasr.
