Event Description
Review Date : February 15, 2017
Embassy Review : We arrived about an hour earlier than our 9 AM appointment. We sat and waited until about 10:05am. Our name was finally called time to turn in the paperwork requested for the interview to the 1st officer,we were greeted by a very polite young lady that asked for our passports, Visa photos and medical. She then asked us to have a seat outside. 10:15 we were called to the window where sat a young officer typing away on her computer,. She asked my husband his name and who I was, he replied my wife she then asked me when did I enter the country I replied yesterday, she said you came for the interview? I replied Yes I did. She said thank you for coming and then asked me to go back to the waiting area. Oh Boy ... after about what seemed like an hour( it was only 10-15 minutes) I heard my name over the loud speakers. I went back in the lady said your petition has been Approved you may come back on March 1 to pick up the visa. WAIT NO March 1st , Ma'am I am going back on Sunday .Can you please issue sooner. Well the process takes 10 business days she replied. I said I understand but please I would like him to travel with me. Okay she said come back Friday.. Yippee Thank you.. We were out the door by 10:40
This by far has been the smoothest part of this whole Journey ..
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
