Only photos we sent in were those the asked for, like copies of passports and ID cards. Our personal relationship at our AOS interview was never questioned, but did bring in the original documents they requested as proof our copies were correct. Other proof was that we were free to marry each other and had that marriage certificate. With my stepdaughter, was proof her didn't give a darn biological parent gave his permission for her to come here. But in her country, she could never leave without that proof. But by the very fact she was here should have been proof enough/

With later interviews, required proof that we had a joint financial relationship, like joint owning property, sharing joint accounts and insurance, but most important, paying income taxes together.

So must be paying income taxes together is enough proof to show a valid marriage.

Feel if you go overboard with uncalled for proof, just opening the door for further investigation into your personal relationship, like you are trying to hide something.

Oh, boy... so much excitement I have aroused... I never meant anything offensive, I am not as tasteless.

We just have a couple of selfies where I am holding his head on my chest, or we hug each other in bed, but there is no even real nudity exposed.

It is just kind of tasteless. When you think about the pictures think "would my mother/father/older relative think this was appropriate enough to hang on the wall in his/her home?"

I don't agree with that. We normally don't share our personal things with total strangers, like USCIS employees, but the K-1 process is kind of

forcing us to do so. Consular and immigration officers are also entitled to ask intimate questions, like "has your marriage been consumated?"

The K-1 process has never "forced" anyone to submit beaver shots or sexy photos. And the consumation point is a valid question. If you have not consumated the marriage it is not "official". The people here are really trying to help you. Why don't you let them?

Well, no consummation is required for a K1 visa as many cultures do not permit relations before marriage.

Oh, yeah thats right. We're talking a K-1 here. Woops. I hereby "withdraw" the consumation point. Sorry, no pun intended.

While this is true, I made sure to consummate the relationship prior to submitting the K-1 petition.
