Yes I have sent scanned NOA2 in an email to NVC inqury and NVC research and only got reply from

NVC inquary 2 times to say that they will look into it and inqury at USCIS on my behalf and then

get back to me.

Nothing has been sent from NVC research. NVC says to just wait, and wait that my time will come.

It was at the NBC, then went to local office in San Antonio, Tx. I got a letter from them that case

was sent to NVC and still nothing.

3 calls today - one at breakfast, one after lunch, one 10 minutes prior to closing. nothing, nada, blah blah blah.

sure! print off the coversheet, attach to top of pile, and send it off !

for a K-1 visa chaser - suggest 3 weeks after NOA-2 receipt notice date.

Brother Darnell, how goes yah travels through NVC? Any update?

Our file still hasn't made it to NVC. It will be a crying shame if it takes the same amount of time to get to NVC as it did to get an approval

PS: How many times do they get update in their system? I mean if I call in the morning and had a negative answer, could calling in the evening on the same day get a positive answer?

My I-130 was approved on March 23,2012.... BUT still nothing at NVC yet!! keep calling, and I sent them a scanned copy of my NOA2 too!! They still tell me to wait. Anyone in the same boat as me? It would make me feel better if I wasn't the only one that's been waiting a month :(

Prepare for GMAT and Toefl. We need both :)

We received NOA2 on 4thMarch from Vermont after waiting 200 days. We then waited for file to reach NVC - after many calls backwards and forwards to NVC and USCIS we were told it had gone to 'quality review' at USCIS but nobody could actually tell us what that meant and neither the USCIS or NVC seemed to be able to give us any useful information or tell us where the file might be. We were repeatedly told conflicting things by different people then my fiancé rang NVC on 19th April and out of the blue was given the case number and told they were processing the file- 46 days after NOA2 approval! I have yet to hear it has been sent to London

It's been almost 4 weeks since our NOA2, but our file is still not at the NVC. On the NOA2 it says our file is being forwarded directly to the Consulate, but both the Consulate and NVC told us that it has to go through the NVC. But when we called USCIS yesterday, they insisted that it's on its way to the Consulate. It's ridiculous!

I think it always says on the NOA2 letter that it goes to the consulate but it definitely has to pass through NVC first. Good luck and hope you don't have to wait too long

Got our case jumbers today starting with PRS but no IIN nimbers.

They took note of our email addresses, however My email address wasn t added to my children's cases as I am not named on their applications (!!??! - I am their biological mother!).

Do I now need to send the email confirming our email addresses (equivalent of DS3032) or them having our email addresses is enough?

Should I call them everyday now to get IIN numbers? i was also told that 'it can' (and not 'it will') take 20 business days to send the packages out.

We contacted our Congressman's office again today - they helped us get our petition approved - and had them call NVC for us. Here is what came of it (this is from the email we received):

When I called today they [the NVC] did not have record of it. I then backtracked to USCIS and unfortunately the case was never sent. As this was an error of USCIS I asked that the case now be expedited to NVC. The Congressional Unit was very apologetic and agreed. They will FEDEX it out to NVC today or tomorrow and is going to be re-approved giving it additional time on the validity date.

I understand what you're going through. Once it gets to the NVC, ask your congressman to request an expedite of assigning the case number due to the error. My congressman requested an expedite and a case number was assigned in 1 day. Good luck.

Wow, they actually lost your file? I would have a nervous breakdown if that happened to us.

But yeah, she already said she would do that.

Good luck to you guys with the medical, the interview and all that :)
