Hi SundayBelida, I'm looking at your timeline signature from time you submit AOS and IV package to case closed, that's SUPER FAST processing at NVC comparing to others one here. :thumbs::lol: Any trick to this you wanted to share it with me. :hehe:

Ahh....Sorry, I though it only took a few days but each seem like 2 weeks. :thumbs::lol:

It says if your income exceeds (mine doesn't with my 4 kids, which is why I have a co-sponsor) you can skip this part. Since mine doesn't that is why I thought it was not then optional for me and that I had to fill that part out.

Typically, you only fill out the assets section if you want to qualify on assets, due to low income. Since you had a joint sponsor anyways, you didn't need to fill this out.

Just be patient and wait for the review to be done on your AOS package. The officer could always accept your package since you have a joint sponsor and clearly not trying to qualify on assets.

Paying from a US checking account doesn't show how much is in the account, thus the need for bank statements.

Got it!

OMG on 26a I put my amount in my checking account. I just went through and filled everything out, just now see that it said optional it's not like it was 15,000 dollars it was 1,500. So stupid so because I put down how much is in my bank account I delayed it. HOW DUMB I'm kicking myself right now!!!!!

I agree, and maybe you could send in the requested info (bank statement for the given month which you listed) in case they don't overturn the checklist on review?

Just an FYI for long time VJ users. NVC does open your mail the day it arrives in the mail room and rubber stamp it with the date it arrived. We received our files back from NVC with the DS-230 stamped on every page.

12/4/2012 - NOA1 NBC (Missouri Service Center MSC) 5/22/15: Date on NOA1
12/6/2012 - Check cashed 8/26/15: Bio appointment

12/8/2012 - Received paper NOA1 10/06/15: Received Email card was being processed
12/20/2012 - Case number showed up on USCIS website
1/29/2013 - Called USCIS and case is still at NBC
2/8/2013 - Received an Email that we were approved on 2/7/13
3/5/2013 - Told file may have been "misplaced" to email NOA2 to NCVresearch
3/7/2013 - ISO at the USCIS opened a service request to try to track down
if and when the file was shipped. Should hear something before 3/26 ( so she said)

hmm..I wonder when we'll get a case complete. It's been ten days since we sent our checklist documents. Sigh! :(
