Event Description
Review Date : June 24, 2013
Embassy Review : Okay here i go !!!

So i arrived in DR 10 pm on thursday night , to wake up friday at 2 am, we headed out to the capital in our personal car the drive from santiago was ok until we got to the capital !!!
Ughhh!!!! We were stopped by some police offiers ten minutes from the consulate and to get them off our backs we gave them 3,000 pesos and they left us alone !!! Ok so when we get to te consulate it was 4:15 am so there was a few people there so we were ok .

I really thought it was a fancy place but uhmmmmm it was soooo rachhheettt !!! But we waited , so we just waited and waited and waited till we saw the sun lol
So they started letting people in by 7:15 am and we were lucky number 011. So by the time i reached the entrance line i noticed i had a friggin USB ughhh so i had no choice but to pretend something fell and leave the USB , thank gosh it was empty lol !!! If not they woudve made me make the line all over again and my hubby was already inside so i had to choose my battle well and won .

So by now am inside am waiting for my ticket number to be called so that We can give the papers that they requested ... That took like 5 minutes .
So we were scared as hell cux te dominican lady in casilla 18 was mean ass hell , well after her rudeness we were directed to casilla 15 to make our fingerprints , after the finger prints the wait began all over again !
We waited like an hour by this time we were so sleepy that we didnt even notice that they had called us . Ok well we walked up to casilla 20 he looked mean but i was prepared
Once we swore us in he told my husband am going to talk to her in english and u in spanish

To me :
Whats us name ?
Where did you two meet ?
How did you communicate ? - i had to explain that i used ovoo and he said he didnt know what that was thank god i had picture snap shots
Do you have any children ? No
Why? I had to xplain

To him:
Whats her birthday ?
Do you have family in new york ? Yes in the bronx consul started laughing cux he thought my husbands accent was funny

The consul asks for pictures i give him my pack of pictures in a ziplock bag .

To him :
Who are the people in the picture ?
What are teir names ?
Who paid for the wedding? - my wife family consul laughs and says lucky guy!!!
There was a picture of my beautiful dog GIA -consul starts laughing and asks him -
Whose this mascota ? How old is she ?

To me :
How many people attended the wedding ? He said big wedding nice
How many of his family members went tp the wedding?
Did he pay you to marry him ?
Did you recieve any monetary compensation for marrying him ?

To him:
Have you ever had any issues with the law ?
Have you ever left the country illegaly?
Have you ever tried to go to puerto rico?

Then he took that green slip and said -en este momento su cosa a sido approvada !!!!

I always said i would stay calm but i sure didnt i screamed hugged my man and have him a kiss lol !!!
I was soooooo happy you guys have no idea! So i went to pay domex and then to celebrate right away lol !!!

It was a good interview cux he was stern he laughed at my pictures and loved my dog Gia , i honestly think that she was my saving grace !!
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
