My USC Hubby petitioned me and my 2 year-old child together. My child's AOS fee has already been invoiced, but my case is not yet with NVC upto now. Once my AOS fee will be invoiced soon, Do we have to pay for the AOS fee $88 twice, for each of us? Or pay only once for both of us?

Sorry, the fella/lass that responded to you was wrong.

for AOS, it's ONE fee of 88 bucks , covering all Visa Applicants.

It's weird, you must wait a bit for the casefiles to get joined up.

Or you can call NVC, badger them, asking for the casefiles to be joined up in the payment portal.

It's the IV fee that is seperate, not the AOS fee.

Mady is wrong.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Thanks Darnell.. NVC still has no record of my case because it was approved at a local field office after an RFE.. Once NVC receives my case and a case# & IIN will be generated, I will be requesting that our cases be joined together.. Thanks..

IMO, it's so worth it, to wait a bit, badgering NVC to marry the files together.

Mady - I will bet you, your last 4 paychecks, against my last 4 paychecks, that I am right.

Rock n Roll ! [apologies, you are wrong, on this one thing. Not 'think', simply 'is'. ]

Like Darnell said, for AOS, it's one fee per case. Perhaps you're thinking of the IV fee? That's where it's per applicant.

They'll each have their own case numbers, but with parent/child or spouse/spouse, you can join up two cases, so they're essentially one. Then you only pay one AOS fee. And you can then get the same day for an interview.

Thanks again..My husband will not be doing any transactions with NVC until my case shows up in their system, so that both me and my child will exactly have the same interview schedule soon..

Thanks.

Mine still looks like that and I edited mine a week after I submitted because I had forgotten to put our middle names in.

When you edit the date changed to the date you edited.

I wouldn’t worry.
