Hubby and I both agree with over. BUT...sometimes I put it on under just to annoy him as its USUALLY me that ends up having to change the roll. He will leave the barest amount on, just so he doesn't have to change it. So being the passive aggressive person I am, I put it on backwards

My boyfriend and I are in a constant struggle about this. I switch it when I'm visiting him because it skeeves me to see it under. I can only imagine what things will be like when we move in together later this year. War!

oh my. perhaps just carry a bag of yer own brand, never put it in the toilet paper holder? diffuse the situation without further conversation.

It doesn't matter - either way is acceptable. The important point is that there is enough toilet paper on the roll availble when about to go wiping.

I say under because I don't know HOW many rolls of paper have gone to waste because of my parents dog, before she finally learned that toilet paper is NOT a TOY! Not fun coming home at 2 am after work to have to clean up shredded toilet paper all over the house!
