Oh, by the way. What's your guys opinion on booking a flight to the USA already, when knowing your interview date? I don't wanna risk it even though I feel confident the interview will go fine. Booking earlier is cheaper, so.

You will have a 6 month period from your day of visa issued to travel. Unless you want to fly the same week you get your visa. I suggest wait for it.

I say they take my long standing idea. At Case Complete NVC opens up the ustraveldocs.gov portal so you can schedule your own dang um interview. How about that. I mean why is it K1 can and you can't?

i didnt called them on Friday / Sat as i was gone to see Tajmahal

After reading the update in this forum and couple of other forum i have speculated that it's gone. And i know few folks who applied for Tourist visa in July got their interview for end of August. So that means they are concerned about tourist / business / student visa for Sept.

Until the visa is in your hand DO NOT book anything. You never know if there could be an issue which would impact the issuance/printing of your visa.

If you are willing to buy a refundable ticket, or ticket which allows you to delay your trip, go for it.

But most of the good deal tickets charge hefty price for cancelling or rescheduling.

Bad news, they told me that they don't have more slots for interviews on September, they are waiting for starting schedule October, but they didn't startet yet.

I don't understand that my inlaws are category IR-5 and had their interview scheduled on May, almost a month

and a week from having their case completed and I that i have a higher category it's taking so much time.

I don't understand this...

Just called NVC.. Sept schedule for NWD is complete. October they will start this week.

Fingers crossed .. Wishing and praying badly for October interview or else i will have to work on new PCC for Delhi which will be a new trouble
