Monday will be our 2 yrs anniversary. This distance between us and this unknowing waiting is driving us crazy. Our CC was May 27, 2015 and we are still waiting for an interview. I stop calling NVC because they have no answers for you. I just track the spreadsheet to see when interviews are being scheduled. I pray that God will let NVC start scheduling interviews very soon.

Your cc was may!! If there are still May cases pending, I wonder when are they going to come to July cases! ?

I say they take my long standing idea. At Case Complete NVC opens up the ustraveldocs.gov portal so you can schedule your own dang um interview. How about that. I mean why is it K1 can and you can't?

My husband called the NVC again yesterday and now they claim that the Stockholm embassy never sent them any dates for September. The embassy claims that they for sure have and are waiting for the NVC.

I'm worried this is a technical problem at the NVC where they are not receiving dates properly. It wouldn't be the first time there are technical issues and they try to deny it.

Did anyone contact their senator yet? We're planning on looking into it on Monday.

I have a situation that makes me more stressed with not getting any interview scheduled. There is a company that wants to hire me in LA where my husband lives and where we are going to live. But they need me as soon as possible and I'm afraid that with this wait it will come to a point when they don't need me anymore.... Would this qualify to get an expedite? I know normally expedites are for emergency situations etc....

It's ridiculous!! Almost 3 months later and still no interview, i'm waiting a month and a half and it makes me mad..I hope they start scheduling soon. I just can't figure out what the heck is going on why no one seems to be getting scheduled..

Anamta they are a different embassy. Every embassy has their own slots and things. Even before this months slow down Jamaica has been a 3 month wait since lat summer. So Really its normal for Jamaica. Same for Vietnam, Cambodia and Egypt.

Thats why looking at the spreadsheet for your own embassy is vital you can't mix embassies and assume whats happening at one is happening at another.

Everywhere I have asked and reached out to say they have been scheduling September for CR1/IR1 its just a coincidence that many here not getting interviews. Although not what people want to hear.

I think things will pick up because the student visa and tourist visa slots will free up and now more room for IR1/CR1 interviews.

I feel your pain.. I was offered a job in May and told them I estimated to be in the US by August, that was my "conservative" estimate. They were ok with it, they needed someone by September the latest. Of course, when mid July came around and I didn't even had a case complete, I called them and explained the situation. They had to hire someone else.. Most likely won't hire me in the future too.

My wife adopted a kitty from a rescue in May, our case was at the NVC for 1 month already then, we thought we wouldn't take much longer.. It's almost a full grown cat by now.

I haven't changed anything on the list. You should be able to go to column E and do a sort.

Although New Delhi is just one example, August scheduled interviews show 90% cases with dates 2014 or prior. Only 130 out of over 1,110 cases are from 2015, a maximum 10% student visas and tourist visas and/or work visas. I rounded the percentages, and perhaps August is just an anomaly.

I do hope things pick up and IR1/CR1 slots free up for September onwards..

dwheels76, please help if you can, I'm freaking out a little bit. My interview is coming up on August 20th, and I only have a scanned copy of my husband's divorce decree from his previous marriage. My divorce decree from my previous marriage is fine - it's original and apostilled, but neither my husband nor his ex-wife have an original of this document, and neither of them are in the country to request an original. Will it be fine if I just take the original of my decree, and the scanned (not certified!) copy of my husband's decree?

How did it go? Holding thumbs that all was okay!

My interview was yesterday morning and was relatively speedy; approved and saw on ceac site that the visa has already been printed!
