Merrytooth got a reaction from N-o-l-a in Visa denied
USCIS will adjudicate the Hardship waiver I-601 case.
After the I-601 approval, your spouse will go back to the US consulate for spousal visa interview again.
You will need to show/prove extreme hardship on you (the USC), if you can't be reunited with your spouse in US.
Since the UK is English speaking, has good medical care, and has options for employment for you and education for your child, it will be harder to prove extreme hardship than some third world, poor countries.
Hence, it is best that you have at least a consultation with a lawyer who is very experienced in I-601 waivers.
e.g. Laurel Scott , read the I-601 memo here:

Watermelon really tastes nice in hot summer weather.
Also remember not to buy cotton plant decorations.

You would need to steer clear of bananas as well. Like you, I am not a big fan of watermelon for the same reasons, so whenever Katya buys one, she eats the whole thing over time. I do though love bananas, but I make sure not to leave the peels lying around.

I personally believe that this is oversensitivity. It's a fruit and a lot of people ( me not so) love it regardless of their color or race...
Those songs might be racist, but offering co workers or friends or family watermelon is not. Unless it's done with the intention to insult. That's not what I read in the article, just a person who wants to be nice. I would probably have done the same, not watermelon because I don't like it, but something else.
Apparently I have to look up lists of food that might be insulting......

Apply for Tourist Visa?
But given your story here, I think you will have a hard time getting Tourist Visa approval.
Are your wife not going to apply I-130/spousal IR1 visa for you again?

Merrytooth got a reaction from PRC Rabbit in I got scammed but can't prove it
Yep, Do not ever be alone with her anymore, in case of any false domestic violence claim.
As you should know by now, she is probably staging a VAWA case against you by calling the cops on you (Oh she is so scared of you, might served you with restraining order as well).
Not sure if you can prevent her from coming back to your house since it is considered marital home. You should consult your divorce attorney for further advice.
Another thing, once she figures out she can't get her green card without you (K1 holder has to AOS with the original USC petitioner), she might have a 'change of heart' trying to reconcile with you.
Choose your steps wisely.

Merrytooth reacted to Sandra G. in Child and I living with a stranger....Not the man I knew
Don't be ashamed. I am glad you saw his real side now, don't even think to get married to this man,he has serious issues and with time your life would be even more miserable.
Pack your things and leave, I would not bother to talk to him because he seems self centered and when you tell him that you are leaving he might become violent or manipulative. Life is too short to live in a toxic/poor relationship.
If the truck already left Canada they will be able to return your stuff but of course they will charge you again.

Merrytooth got a reaction from Ning in Can I apply for government benefits??
You as USC can apply for food stamps.
But your immigrant husband probably won't be included.
Most states require LPR to wait at least 5 years after getting greencard before they can apply for govt related assistance.

Social services can help you fill out the application. Your household size is 2 however they will only give you assistance for 1. (Your income has to qualify for 2)

She should inform the US consulate that the USC petitioner has passed away and cancel the K1 interview.
If she needs to visit US for the funeral, she should apply for Tourist visa.

You are at the vending machine, it costs 1 dollar to buy a can of coke light,
you only have 25 cents. that means you cannot buy a can of soda.
does this make sense to you?
