If that was legal, don’t you think everyone would do it, to circumvent the wait time? This is why certain countries, including yours, have high B visa rejection rates.
Do it the right way.
Do not commit fraud.
Waiting is part of the process that we all go through; your case is no more or less important than anyone else’s.

If they already have a tourist visa they can visit while the I-130 is processing.
But, if they are only obtaining the tourist visa with the intent of adjusting, this is fraud and they will probably not be granted the non-immigrant visa.

If they are outside of the US, your only option is consular processing. Having them enter on a tourist visa with the intent to adjust status is fraud.

Nig got a reaction from Boiler in Petition for Mother, Stepdad and sister (13 years old)
I'm an IR5 parent of US
Parent of US is forgiven for any overstayed if they are adjusting status and came with a US Visa
If the overstayed is the only problem they are all set to go

Nig reacted to Boiler in Petition for Mother, Stepdad and sister (13 years old)
They can not adjust and seems like they would be subject to a ban on leaving
Are there any qualifying relatives to file a waiver?
There is an exception if you are in the Military

Hey, did you check ceac case status?
we got a specific email with the subject “Notice regarding your Immigrant Visa Case becoming Documentarily Qualified“ and a message on the portal along with it
we didn’t get an RFE, but I’ve seen on this forum that you get a message telling you what they are requesting from you - so no message doesn’t sound like RFE to me

Nig reacted to da95826 in N-400 Interview
Don’t be scared. It is not tough to pass a naturalization interview, study your civics questions and be prepared to answer IO questions in english.
You will be tested on the civics question and you will need to get 6 questions correct to pass. You will need to read and write a simple sentence.
Interviewing officer will cover all the questions on the n400 application so review the questions on the n400 form and be prepared to answer the same questions in person to the officer.
The IO will ask about time spent out of the US, be prepared to update the IO with any new travel made after the n400 application.
If you have any legal issues, be prepared to address them with any police reports and court dispositions. If you had any traffic citation in the past 5 years be be prepared to show you took care of them
Bring your IRS tax transcripts for any years you have not already provided in the last 5 years. (you need to show you file taxes and your taxes have been paid)
IO may ask about anything in your immgration history with the US. You may want to bring old visas in passports, any approval notices for immgration benefits obtained in the past. This old immgration stuff is not likely to be needed but may be handy to have with you at the interview. You will want to know your immgration history and respond to any question IO may have.
Your marriage status is a concern as your certificate of naturalization indicates whether or not you're married. So bring the original copy of your divorce decree and marriage certificates.

Nig reacted to Scandi in N-400 Interview
Why did you file the N-400 if you weren't prepared to go through with the process and are now instead "freaking out"? When you file the N-400 you know what to expect, so the "freaking out" part I don't understand at all.

Please do not post foreign-language translations of other people's posts. If you quote a post, quote what the poster wrote. If English is not your first language and you must translate a post for yourself, do it privately, but keep everything in English in these forums. The only place on VisaJourney that foreign-language posts are acceptable are the regional forums.

Assuming your visa entry or I-94 shows the correct date of entry and your attorney could have corrected through online e-submission.
But be sure you prepare/review for interview WITH attorney..as I am not sure if you mean “ first trip” or “ most recent entry”.. and dates are important..

AOS form has a question about whether or not you worked without authorization to do so, fake papers or not, you worked without authorization to do so, so yes you MUST disclose that information. I honestly do not believe for one second USCIS doesn’t know that already, so be truthful always.

It varies wildly depending on consulate. Perhaps you can check timelines for others with the same consulate as yourself?

Nig reacted to heartnmoroc in March 2022 NVC Submissions IR1
Well today I got an email from Nvc saying status update (submitted 7Mar22). I went online to my account and it shows the I-864 was accepted with a green check mark. But the rest still shows submitted. No DQ or case complete status yet. I guess this means they are reviewing my documents now. I really hope so!!!
