Definitely. The excellent mall in Harlingen, TX became a shadow of its former self after Sears left. And they still have Dillards and JCPenney there, and maybe also Marshalls. We can all cite countless others. I found Ralph Lauren pillows and the best suitcase ever. The suitcase was the very last one available. I haven't looked on the site in ages. Agreed, and it's hard to explain why. I always hated (and hate) walking by the perfume counter and ending up smelling like a cheap whorehouse. Years ago, my buddy WCG (World's Cheapest Gringo) went to either a Macy's or a JCPenney when $-off certificates were handed out at the door during some promotion. Most were for $10 or $20, but he got one for $100. He went in and, calculating mentally only, got something like $100.43 worth of stuff. The cashier was impressed.
