    Pretty selfish mate.... All of us are in the same position waiting for our Interview date and under similar circumstances . Unless there is an an exceptional circumstance why are you more special than the rest of us?

    Agreed-- I actually went and double checked after my post! Also, yesterday was a Bank Holiday so today is basically a Monday for the embassy 🤞

    I think I read something the other day that the Embassy opens new appointments to NVC based on monthly capacity. 
     
    So, kind of speculating too that they schedule on a month to month basis (at least for now). 
     
    Hopefully the beginning of a new month brings positive change for us. We're plain day May 27 DQ and case complete.

    We're plain old DQ on May 27th as well with NVC. Hoping to see some movement as well next week. Fingers crossed.

    ... So how will the furlough affect you if you haven't even applied for a visa? A moot point.

    That's so great, CONGRATULATIONS!! Hopefully you have smooth flights to your new home in El Paso. I bet it feels so surreal to not have to stress about this process anymore.

    Yip it's very frustrating either route. Working out timelines can be freak one out, especially with all the backlogs. Hope not too long for all of us!
