We have filed AR-11 and I-865 each time we've moved. I would not have expected them asking for licenses at the interview... guess we better get on that and update them now. Thanks for the heads up!

Just bring with you the document that shows this pay increase. No need to bring a completely new form

Wow more than 50% of my time spent on this AOS application was spent on this form.... Well I guess on the bright side that's one less form to get a possible RFE on lol

Don't  forget to consult other threads and ask them there what they did. This thread is rather small yet so it would be good to consult other threads until this one gets more filers.

you should probably cut them into the correct size and don't ask immigration person  to do it / just as they are already have a work load/ they already don't like to remove staples,  etc

Make it easy for them.   If you gang them on one piece of paper or print them separately,  use a scissors to size them properly

My income is sufficient, but not by a lot. I am not entirely sure if asset disclosure is required or not. I am expecting to receive the interview instruction packet next week.

Thank you Greenbaum. We are in the process of transferring from the embassy in Montreal to the embassy in Tokyo. I forgot I never updated that so I'll get that fixed now.

Yes it looks like you are right! I just checked the website where I booked the interview, and the interview is still listed as valid. I guess we'll see if this lasts... I am already a member of the group actually, it's been extremely helpful so far

Actually, we are still considered immigrant (see here: https://bit.ly/3d7vuPk).  Even though K1s are non-immigrant.

So, you should be fine unless you get an email saying to reschedule. So just keep in mind this sentence from the post.
"The Consulate General in Montreal continues to process immigrant visas but depending on staffing capacity and host government restrictions, may need to reduce routine immigrant visa appointments."
As a side note you should totally join the Canadian FB group  -- The only thing I have seen so far happen in the group, is the medicals in Montreal have gotten cancelled for the next 14 days.

I chose to skip those since I can show more than sufficient income. The way I read it, the requirement is to show sufficient resources with the required rigor, but not necessarily a complete inventory. It doesn't say anywhere that everything you have needs to be listed. That would be the case if you ever tried to claim benefits of course.

This is what you need. One year is fine for the Tax Transcript

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT: You must submit any evidence which will show that you and members of your family who will accompany you are not likely to become public charges while in the United States. Visa petitioner (US Citizen) will have to complete form I-134. If the petitioner does not qualify as a sponsor, a Joint-Sponsor should ALSO be presented (any US Citizen living in the US or Legal Permanent Resident), who will also have to complete form I-134. Both, the Sponsor (Petitioner) as well as the Joint-Sponsor, will have to present last year's income tax return transcripts. W2 form and proof of current and sustainable income (e.g letter of employment on letterhead including salary and start date, most recent salary receipts, bank accounts, the value of properties, etc.). You may download the I-134 affidavit at https://www.uscis.gov/i-134 Get the IRS transcript in place of the actual 1040 here: https://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript Use this link to determine the income levels needed https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p.

    Utility bills
    Drivers License
    Lease agreement
    Mortgage statement
Any correspondence from a governmental agency

I wouldn't use just one of these I would try and put together a "package" of evidence from this list.

If he hasn't sponsored your fiance before, then no.

If he sponsored your sister's husband previously, then he would put your sister's husband's information.

A certified translation is essentially a sworn statement affirming the translator’s ability to translate a document from the original language to the English language accurately.

Anybody who is fluent in both languages can translate.

The translator need to include the following:

I, [typed name], certify that I am fluent (conversant) in English and [foreign language], that I am competent to translate and that the above/attached document is an accurate translation of the document attached entitled [name of document].

    Future/potential earnings are not considered.

The role of the cosponsor will be understood, as you, the petitioner, are always the primary sponsor regardless of income.
  23. Thanks
Dome reacted to Greenbaum in I-134 Comission
Q1. Explain your salary package on an addendum (separate sheet of paper) to the I-134. At the interview it can be discussed with the CO but it must be understood how it works with your beneficiary for him/her to explain if any questions arise unless of course you are at the interview and the CO allows you to be at the window during the interview.

Q2. Make two packages, one yours and one the cosponsor. Let the CO at the interview determine how they are labeled.
  24. Thanks

This is still up in the air.

Until such time as we know more about this new procedure we can't really say. If you have an upcoming interview I would plan on either one, complete the form and bring to the interview and if asked present it or go to the interview and if asked for it and you have not completed the form then they will issues you a 221(g) for said document. You complete the form and return it to your embassy where the adjudication of your case will pick back up.

I'd recommend seeking out other forums where this is being talked about and not ask here. FB is not a good source of general rules and regulations, especially if it can't be backed up with bonified links to the government directive. Also, asking in a thread like this where others will not have knowledge is also not recommended. Just my teaching moment.

It's still "in transit" mode because the embassy hasn't "received it" and tripped the switch to "ready" condition. Need more time.
