Hi!

I was looking for a subthread about January 2021 AOS fillers but could not find it anywhere. Perhaps the people who are applying for it are not as many as I thought (?) given the situation.

Well, if you are one of the lucky people who have been able to travle to the US on a K1 visa and filed the AOS in late December 2020 or in January 2021, would you join this thread?

Thank you.

We originally filed in early November, but it was returned because I needed to add an I-944 for my K-2, who is 10 years old BTW. So we refiled end of December and got our NOA1 last week. I think it was fast for the second submission because there is a slip of paper they give you to add that seems to move you to the top of the pile.

Hello all, is there a checklist or guide on how to submit AOS? What are the requirements? My husband and I are trying to send out packet out in Feb.

Are pictures, insurance cards, bank statements a requirement?

Thank you for your help!

Check out this thread, but also check out the USCIS website. There have been so many changes as of late that it is hard to keep up. This link will give you an idea of what you may need. Pictures, insurance cards etc are not need initially, but are needed for the interview phase. I think perhaps your thread needs to be moved to the other area where all the other AOS from K1 visa monthly threads are you might want to ask a mod to move it if I am right in my statement.  I think here is where you want to be:  Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports

Just finished getting everything together today. Getting the passport photos tomorrow and shipping this thing out!

Any last minute things I should check over? This thing has been crazy burdensome to put together.

If you haven't already, go through the entire thing and check every answer. It will save you grief in the long run.

Then once you go through it, go through it again.  Good to have another set of eyes look at it. Your partner etc. Check for signatures and most importantly correct versions and editions of each form submitted.
