Get married and go cr1 route bro

We met two years ago I’ve been to the country 5 times. Our relationship is legit! I know that a person spent 8 hours with his fiancé before he asked the question and they gave him the damn visa. 

Yes. We actually got a copy of his marriage certificate! That proves the disillusion of their relationship.

They were never married. They were living in the same house though. They needed her to prove she no longer live in Santo Domingo!

So we had a similar thing happen at our interview. The embassy told us that their records show that my fiancé was still living with her ex as a couple. We were lucky because he got married! Since he got married we obtained a copy of their marriage certificate to use as proof that their relationship was dissolved. We a also submitted lease, and bills that show that she doesn’t even live in the same city anymore. It’s been frustrating to say the least! So now we are just waiting for the approval. The agent said once we prove the relationship was over we would get approved! We sent everything in yesterday so fingers crossed 🤞🏾 

I’m being optimistically cautious. But it’s been 2 years and  but I am not going to rush anything. Thanks for the concern. I’m trying to straddle that fine line of this being true while not being mean an holding a visa over her head. I’m taking it day by day. 

We are in the petition process, we are on Day 71 awaiting our NOA2. Next week my 9 year old son and I are going to visit my fiance and our daughter. Just wanted to put that out there since this site has been so helpful!

A visit while you are waiting is like a magic tonic.  Those are the words I used to describe my visits to see my husband while we were waiting for our K1.  Enjoy every moment!

Yea my son and I are going in August and I go back in October. Still driving me bananas! 

I know it’s not for a while. I’m just trying to wrap my head around everything I have to do that’s all.
