Anyone can help? Any advice?

We had our interview last week.

I said this and I'll say it again, let your fiancee carry with her a lot of confidence.

You can't be talking about the love of your life with a long face and a shaky voice.

That wouldn't go down well.

The interview officer just wants to make sure you know your partner and everything is legit.

Remember it's just an interview and not a death sentence.

Hope you get the taste of happiness that we felt after our approval.

Good luck come tomorrow!

Keep us posted on the outcome.

So I wish I had some good news for that particular day. First, the VAC didn’t send the medical evaluations to the embassy for our interview. Then when we got there they separated us and interviewed my fiancé individually. When they were done they asked my fiancé to prove that she didn’t live in Santo Domingo! Then they accused her to still being with her ex! Who is living abroad and married. So they told her she had to provide paper work proving all of it. Well we just sent in all the additional evidence with the passport. That went out yesterday so hopefully they will approve her by Christmas! I was so pissed they made us go through all of this!

How do you suppose they came to the conclusion that your fiance didn't once in Santo Domingo and that she was still seeing her married ex?

They were never married. They were living in the same house though. They needed her to prove she no longer live in Santo Domingo!

That is crazy.   They do separate you for the interviews.  I wonder how they got all the information  on the ex if they weren't married.  Maybe someone called in to sabotage..
