Nope there were no issues, no RFE we just didnt get any updates whatsoever which was nervewrecking since most people get theirs the next day or within a week. But it did eventually updated and it all went good! I hope yours does too

It took over a month before they processed mine after the interview, a lot of IO dont have authority to give a decision, they have to put it in a pile for a supervisor to approve. If there were no problems at the interview then i expect you`ll be approved before too long.

They technically have 120 days to give a decision. Go ahead and file to renew your EAD.

You are correct, that is your Facebook username (or account name) not your first & last name.

Mentioning the gmail account sounds like the smartest thing to do:)
I tried looking up my Facebook profile from another account using my full name and I kept seeing many profiles having my exact name lol. So I was thinking of making their job easy by putting the link to my profile? That is www.facebook.com/xxxxx.... 'xxxx' is your profile name/nickname (I think). I don't know if that makes sense. Or not, I'll just stick to using the name.
Good idea, add all the Instagram accounts

Oh, indeed, I have the same situation with YouTube, streaming using my gmail however I dont have a channel.
But for this ok, I will mention my gmail, its better to add than to skip.
For Facebook I got the answer from some people that Name Surname (how it appears on your newfeed) should be indicated.
Wondering about 2 accounts on Instagram (one of which I dont use since beginning of the year).
If no one answers,  i am going to add all dont have anything to hide )

Good question @Regi I'm hoping to get an answer to this. I also want to add to the question about social media accounts.  If I stream youtube videos using my gmail on my android phone does it mean I have a youtube àccount/channel?

Here is the general rule that I advise as most embassy's are all over the place on this issue. Once you receive your case number from NVC you are free to complete the DS-160. Either find a P3 letter (I have most and I am willing to share), contact the embassy website or email the embassy for a copy of the P3. In there it will give you instructions on how to proceed with payment and scheduling of the interview and what you need to complete the medical exam. Here is the P3 and other documents that I can share that are from the Nigeria embassy. I am always leary of Facebook groups and what others say and not say to do. I rely on facts and so I present them below.

Scheduling the interview can take 1 to 3 months. Once you pay the $265 visa fee at GTB Bank, you can go online to schedule an appointment at www.ustraveldocs.com You can get the forms online at http://nigeria.usembassy.gov/immigrant_visa_forms.html No need to go to the consulate to pick up forms. Download forms if unexpired or get current versions of same forms. Email LagosIV@state.gov for your interview date.

Wet signatures are no longer required for I-134 for your Nigeria interview. You are able to send in scanned documents.

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community that comes behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.

Wait until the consular interview to talk about wedding plans, and then only if you're asked.  Include no such information in the I-129F submission to USCIS, including any references whatsoever to "wifey/hubby" or "Mr./Mrs.," even in jest.

I would not give them wedding planning type of emails before your engagement. Is this an arranged marriage?

Totally agree with above: " signed statement of intent to marry within 90 days of arrival on the visa from the petitioner and the beneficiary" - we got an RFE requesting that.
  17. Thanks
Mekusa reacted to Mike E in Wedding details in the initial k1 visa filing
Keep it simple and just  include signed statements of intents to marry. For the I-129F, a "wet" signature from the beneficiary is not needed. For the K-1, a wet signature from the petitioner is not needed. The day before the flight to the USA, print two new signed intents and be prepared to show at point of entry.

Sign an intent to marry early and often.

    I do appreciate your response.
Okay so I was thinking if we submit email chats and part of it shows wedding planning (ceremony and reception venue, attendance, budgeting and cost of everything) prior to the time I engaged her, could that look like an arranged marriage though? Just thinking.
