You need to know how K1 works. You need to know how EAD, AP and AOS works. You need to know how long it all takes, you need to know she can't travel or work for MONTHS after arrival. After 2 years of her having a green card, you need to know how ROC works. In fact, you will need to start gathering evidences for ROC during your marriage.
 
If you guys fail somewhere in the process, you can't expect USCIS to fix it because you claim ignorance.

My husband is in the army also and it's not impossible to get a housing or a place of post in those circumstances. You NEED to talk to your command or legal on post.

The official requirement for I-134 is 100% of the poverty level, but embassies can and do have their own requirements. 
 
This is for 48 continental states, excluding Alaska and Hawaii. 

For I-134 you only need to meet 100% standard, you will need to meet 125% later though while doing AOS.

Refer to your P3 packet from the embassy for all required documents. Don't bring the kitchen sink with you. Only those in high fraud embassy's may want to pad a little more but for others it's not needed.

oh okay thanks for the information!  I would probably inquire about it in the regional forum since that sounds embassy specific.  

Today, the delivery guy deliverd documents and passport with a visa in it!  yay!

Thanks for your response. I read and write Chinese fluently, so I can manage the translation myself. If I downloaded my entire Wechat records it would be hundreds and hundreds of pages long. According to other responses here, that's way too much, so I'll just choose a few excerpts of our chat record as evidence.

I totally agree with you! We are almost up to send the packet 3 to the embassy, and get an interview date. I can't believe we got to this point and it's also thanks to many people in this webpage and specially @Greenbaum,  who helped us in every stage, I also learned each time making me be able to help others. Hope my fiance and I will get approved at the interview, hope we all make our dream come true! 😍

Just here to give a HUGE THANK YOU TO @Greenbaum! Without reading his clarifications, specific information and updates we would have be lost in this bureaucratic process. So, remember people who take issue with him... he is a volunteer here, his work is solid and i don't think we could count how many couples he's helped. Again, we are almost at the end of our "getting a visa journey" and i came to say THANK YOU.

Just scheduled my interview in March and my fiance will be in town too.
Got 90% of the requested papers except the 1040, 
my fiance told me that the IRS website wouldn't let him download it.
I hope the system will be fixed soon.

u can go back to the SS offices and ask them to give u the number. They may say no or they may give it to you.  It takes 24h to have the number assigned so u might have luck waiting a day or 2. It really depends on the staff, ymmv.

Most Embassy take local holidays and US HOlidays off
