Bayman got a reaction from Gigi5280 in Do I resubmit the same Bona Fides to NVC as I did for USCIS?
Agree with you 100%. There is no harm to sideload new new evidence of a bona fide marriage at the NVC stage. thanks.

Bayman reacted to AfricanQ in Do I resubmit the same Bona Fides to NVC as I did for USCIS?
Hmm, I think is best to send evidence of ongoing relationship to NVC. Anything that occurred from the time u send in your case to USCIS until now.(NVC)...so that all can be forwarded to the Embassy....that's a good look on ur case.
Example:
I submitted my case June , 2018, I've made 2 more trips to see my husband from June 2018....in October, 2018 and I'm abt to take the 2nd trip April 10, 2019. I'll forward those trips to NVC

Hi, welcome! Chicago is the lockbox you sent your petition to, it is not a service center. Your service center will be listed on your NOA1 receipt that you got in the mail. Every service center is at a different speed in terms of processing. You can find approximate times here: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/.
My service center, for example, which is Texas (SRC), is currently taking 7-9 months and has just begun adjudicating petitions submitted in August 2018.
Good luck!

Bayman reacted to pushbrk in Does the petitioner need to submit a letter from their employer or W2s and Pay Stubs are enough?
One pay stub is enough. It shows year to date income, right? If you are sending only one tax return, there is no need for additional W2 forms. If tax return transcript, no W2's are required but no harm in sending.
Understand your pay stub is evidence of "current income". W2's and tax return transcripts are about the past. Both are required but for separate purposes.

I did send an email to the embassy requesting for another interview as the interviewer was unfair and he was very rude and arrogant and I still didn't get any reply from them.

Bayman reacted to fosterfication in Bona Fide Evidence EXACT Photocopies?
This forum and site has been incredibly helpful so far, and I'm back again with another question. The i-130 Petitioner's Declaration states "Copies of any documents I have submitted are exact photocopies of unaltered, original documents, and I understand that USCIS may require that I submit original documents to USCIS at a later date."
Does this pertain to EVERYTHING in the bona fide evidence? Or just official documents (ex: birth and marriage certificate)? If it must be for everything, how how do you deal with things like cards that are larger than a regular letter? What about boarding passes, can you resize them? Copies of passport stamps? Can you resize digital documents (ex: travel itineraries) that would otherwise take up an excessive number of pages?
Is it ok to highlight the pertinent information in these documents? Or would that be considered "altering" them?
Thanks again!

Bayman reacted to Hobidyali in K1 visa refused (merged)
Agreed, but since we are on this topic, let's look at the case of one young and beautiful (not that that should matter but it should be an indicator, that had her husband interview last week. He was put in AP, you tell me what stood out in their case to warrant a DS, these young people are clearly in love and essentially have no red flags. I agree with you 100%, I really do , I just think that they are so tired of the same BS day in and day out and just say screw it, I can't take not one more senior citizen woman coming in here talking about my 27 year old fiance loves me.

Bayman reacted to ArmyVet in Texas Service Center (SRC) I-130 Filers
I could not find a general forum for all the Texas Service Center filers to come together and share their progress. This will give us TSC filers a general idea of what dates they are currently working on. My timeline is in my signature. Good luck to everyone, keep us up to date on your progress!

Bayman reacted to b_victor in I-130 filers: what is wrong with Nebraska service center? Are they working or just taking salaries?
I have my i-130 sent to NSC. As we see visa journey timeline, Potomac service center is processing December, 2018 cases while Texas is on August cases. I don't understand why there is soo much Time difference between the service center for same cases? They could have distributed work load in proper manner so that all the service center process at the same time. Its totally unfair for lot of people.

I have complained to my Congress person but I know I'm just one of many other concerns handled by my rep so I don't expect much.
