I just wanted to give an update for everyone still waiting at Nebraska. We got our approval after 357 days!

Our NOA1 is Dec 21, 2018....maybe we should give the K3 a try too. I going to visit my husband in about a month, so if i send it now maybe we can get lucky and get an approval while I'm there by our anniversary...i can dream lol

Well, exactly - learning about the time it took @Devon&Sandra's petition to be approved has really lifted my spirits - we can always dream.

Congrats! I'm happy for you and hope the rest of your journey goes quickly and smoothly! Our case is in Nebraska, so we are looking at 11-12 months before getting an NOA2 😵 At this rate, it might just be better to wait till after our 2 year anniversary for him to come so he can get his 10 yr green card instead of the 2 yr...what's a couple more months at that point lol I've decided with Nebraska I'll just try to keep laughing to avoid crying 😊

Have you looked in to magicjack? It's fairly low cost and gives you a US phone number that you can call from and receive calls to. I think you can handle calls through their app now after you enroll. It's been awhile since I've used it so i don't know where all it works now 😊

Yeah...but that's a rarity. They are mainly working on June/July right know according to the Nebraska group and timeline searches. I won't hold my breath for now 😊

Everyone's printing out their K-3 forms now. 

In my December filers forum someone posted this: "NOA1 on 14 December 2018 and we got approved on 4 June 2019 when processing in NSC!"
I responded to get more details on how!! I'll update once i know more 😊

We're December 2018 also and most of the group I'm on for December filers are approved, so i know the feeling. At least we have fellow Nebraska people here that understand the REAL struggle on waiting. I also try tip believe that everything happens for a reason...i just wish i could figure out what it is that I'm supposed to get done before my husband comes so i could this reason taken care of lol I just try to keep laughing to avoid crying or going crazy 😵

We're in Nebraska too. The only positive i can focus on is the possibility of my husband getting a 10 year green card instead of the 2 year since he probably won't receive his visa till after our 2 year anniversary. I've stopped watching most of the other service centers to not go crazy.

I guess the only positive is that they'll probably get their 10 yr green card at that point instead of the 2 year, but still infuriating 😞

Congrats!! It always helps seeing an approval in this group!! I've tried to just avoid the December filing group, because most people are already approved.

Hello!! I saw another couple in Corvallis recently approved as well so you might be right in line. I know that having a vocal senator who's well known by USCIS helps and his staff is excellent should you find yourself in a position to reach out. I wish you the very best and hopeful that you'll see approval soon.
 
I hope they are truly working on a caseload rebalance AND hear the voices of all the lovely folks on here advocating and fighting for speedy adjudication.

I'm so sorry you're having to go through this!! I'm trying not to think of the fact that my husband might get stuck in that trap also....that's why he decided not to cross the border to get some more work opportunities. We don't need to add anything else that might cause problems. The many people that marry for green cards cause so many additional problems for those that are doing it for the right reasons on top of the additional country or religion slow downs that happen. I pray things get easier for you and you hear good news soon!! HUGS!!
