It could complicate the background checks once you get to that point in the process.

Yes, could complete back ground check, please don't that this wrong, but Syria is a hot spot for ISIS.

I'm not implying anything against your husband with ISIS.

NOID issued May 17th 2019

June 5th,2019   USCIS received my response on the  NOID// Addressed the NOID myself, No lawyer ever used in case.

July 1st, 2019  10 YEAR GREEN CARD APPROVED

July 5th, 2019   Approval letters for I-130 & I-485 received in the USPS  mail.

July 11th 2019   Green Card in Hand

Yeah... I've been thinking the same thing. It's great there is progress with the border opening, but thinking it's not worth the risk of a denial.

Not worth a risk of a delay with additional back ground checks.  

Plus I believe,  he will have to get a police report from there also for the interview since its a different country then where the interview will take place.

Aren't police reports only needed if you live in the country?

Yes, but considering working in a different country, USCIS just may ask for them. Especially since he will cross daily for work.

 

A person can get in trouble in same country they work at just as well as country they live in.  See my logic in that?  Again not implying anything with your husband.
