  1. My case is already at 16 months, submitted early July 2021. My guess is they are done for the year and waiting for the "quota" next year.
  2. yes I got it done in Houston. I got robbed, called USCIS the next day to request a call back, they called me back 2 working days later and set me up with an appointment within a week. So all in all, I got the stamp in a week. This was in February this year, not sure how things have changed since.
  3. That would keep increasing as I submitted last July and it's already 15 months for me.
  4. Guys, I have a question on how to proceed with this situation. I got robbed of my wallet in Feb this year, and got an i551 stamp in the passport, the stamp is expiring on 21st Feb, 2023. I need to to visit my country Vietnam and help my parents with some stuff early December and may have to stay well beyond the expiration of the stamp. I called USCIS today to get another stamp but they said I can only request an Infopass Appointment if it's within 60 days of expiration. Is there any other way I can get this stamp earlier? Or is there some paperwork that can help me get back to the US if I have to stay beyond the expiration on the i551 stamp? TIA
  5. You can call them for an appointment and get a stamp in his passport. I'm pretty sure they won't issue original documents again. It's a waiting game, we knew it from the beginning so we're just doing what we've been doing.
  6. It can either push things faster or slower. Many cases got approved for N-400 but stuck at 751.
  7. I showed the expired GC and extension letter to the employer and they didn't ask me anything. I got a mortgage back in March also with the expired GC and extension letter, no lenders asked for my SS card.
  8. Haha don't worry your information has been all over the internet already. I've been changing jobs three times and they only asked for my green card.
  9. Many of my friends lost theirs too. All you have to do is to remember the number and that's it.
  10. I lost my ssn a long time ago and don't really see a reason to remove the restriction on it.
  11. I also received a generic answer The status of this service request is: Your case is currently in line for processing and adjudication. Cases are processed in the order in which they were received. We will make every effort to issue a decision or notice of further action on your case as soon as possible. We apologize for the delay and appreciate your continued patience.
  12. you submit the case number into this page and it will return the result. you can do it for multiple cases then run a statistics against it https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do;jsessionid=33F47F8CFCC2BEFD4BF715E1880C3B46
  13. Just get the stamp in case you need to travel or show it to a employer.
  14. There are many cases where they got approval for N400 but not 751, still have to wait anyways.
  15. Just submitted "Case outside of processing time". Still waiting. I'm so disappointed at SRC.
  16. I got robbed of my wallet with the GC inside, didn't file a report, the officer who stamped my passport didn't ask anything. I showed him the 24 month extension letter and that's it.
  17. Call USCIS to schedule an infopass appointment, then get a stamp in the passport. It acts as GC.
  18. yeah I'm waiting for July 20th to file case out of processing time, not it's moved to Aug 09. Speechless.
