Is your field office Los Angeles field office?

I was feeling the exact same all of last year. Then I got my EAD before Xmas and literally have not been depressed since. Its a process. It will get better. It sucks but it takes time. Give yourself a chance and hang in there until you get EAD or GC. Don't give up prematurely. 

This process is so cruel and stressful.  Now either looking for a sponsor or wait until January so they can base themselves of my husband current salary. So frustrating  that is always one thing after another. Okay, rant over

Look out for the taxes and the price of living...those expenses in Cali. can eat you alive!

My congressman submitted expedite due to USCIS Error the day before thanksgiving and it has been radio silence since. No case status updates, nothing. 

EAD approved today. RFE was on November 15. 

Congratulations for the EAD approval. I agree with you on that this site and this community has been a big help. We don't really have a base for an expedition so we just have to be patient and not to overthink but it is great to know that your EAD was approved. Thank you for the information!

Ooof, it's getting so much more frustrating to wait for that EAD/AP, seeing how many others have received it. The EAD process happens through a national office, right? Like, those huge differences in processing times for each field office... those only affect the wait time for the green card, not the EAD, right? I've been assuming it's just kinda random why some people get the EAD earlier than others.

Anyway, I'll just keep checking the USCIS website with our case number. Hopefully my husband will get his EAD "any day now" as the current estimate implies!

ok. well it took us about 1 month, and we have waited almost one month. so hopefully not too much longer.

Anyone with RFE receive EAD approval this week? 
my congressman said they requested an expedite but I’ve had no case status change and no up dates and it’s been well over one week. So depressing!

I just checked my case status again as I got into bed and scared the ####### out of my husband when I screamed - my EAD has updated to 'New Card Being Produced'!!!! I cried haha! 
 
Finally, a step in the right direction. 

I know others whose cases are still in “case was received”. I honestly don’t know what’s going on with people’s EADs. We need those!

After 168 long days of waiting for EAD... a new card is being produced!
