@Shiran On a quick search I found this place; it has just good reviews.

Maybe you’ve already checked on it?

Thanks, I do not recall that sight, I was calling people as they are listed on USCIS page. Primarily just wanted a confirmation if something is missing. Most had very hard time grasping concept of "We do not not full medical, but need to check vaccination"

I will call the place on Monday. Really appreciate you taking time to look!

I am less worried about whether it is a divorce or an annulment, I just was mostly concerned about the sponsorship status and what the consequences would be if I were to pull I-864.

My understanding I-864 only activates after I-485 is approved, and Green Card issued. Up until then you can withdraw it at any time, and should. He should not stay past the point when I-485 official denied, because he only has "permitted stay" due to pending AOS (assuming his I-94 expired by now)
Realizing America is not all that is fairly common, especially when trapped in a house for months. I am sorry things didn't work out for you. :(

I've been agonizing about this for awhile now

Our attempt to find reasonably priced civil surgeon in San Diego area and were unsuccessful locally. Some listed on USCIS website don't even do those anymore. One annoyingly told me "Doctor hasn't done it in 5 years!"
Unfortunately at the time of the examination I was not aware of the form, and  we had other issues to deal with, so it looked complete to me.  Now I don't know, as I cannot quite figure the whole DTP/DTaP/DT mess. We do not have AOS scheduled yet, status is ready for interview.

    To the OP:

File 129F as soon as possible, your financial situation is not relevant on petition stage. Currently approval times for 129F are 3-4 months, who knows what they will be when later. This is low watermark. You don't want to wait.

Got a reply to my email from KyivIV. They said yes, come next Friday instead but no need to bring a new appointment confirmation. I told my fiancee to print off that email and bring it with her next Friday.

Most likely explanation, CO decided to take a day off to make it 4 day weekend. So they rescheduled you. No interview slots on the 12th, because they already schedule you in.

Guys got my interview letter in mail on saturday! August 5th and like i am nearby St. Louis even though i live in Illinois and i thought my office would be chicago Isn't is Missouri, St. Louis!

USCIS recently implemented a change where they transfer cases between local offices in order to better balance the load, and possibly speed up processing. This might be why. Congrats, regardless. Totally worth a long car ride in my opinion.

Curious, what does your status on website show? Did it update?

I have this binder for my sanity and for organization purposes.  I am Type A to a fault.  Would something this size even be allowed in the embassy?  If it would be allowed, can I just feed them documents through the curved window as each is requested?  For example:

    CO:  I-134 please

    ME:  Here it is

CO:  Updated letters of intent to marry please

    ME:  Here it is

...and so on.  There's no way this binder will get through the curved window without me kicking it through.  And even with that, probably not.

The intake window for documents is different from interview window. You will be asked for thing in order by intake officer, basically the  way you described. Except that they don't care for fluff like updated letters. She will need to show DS-160 before you are even allowed into the Embassy. For you, your US Passport is enough. At intake they will ask her passport, her birth certificate, original only no translation, no copies (MAKE SURE YOU GET THAT BACK!), police record, I-134 + Tax transcripts, and then "evidence of relationship" That is it. We didn't had to deal with divorce things, otherwise it might be there somewhere too. After intake, you sit down and wait for your number and/or name be called for the actual interview.

I am out of the country right now with my husband. The only VJ account I was able to sign into is my old account when I brought someone hear from Morocco more than 12 years ago on a K-1. I am now married to a Pakistani man and have applied for a CR-1, but I can't get to my current account. Who can help me delete this old account and get back to the new one? Thanks!

On your phone, open new incognito window, then go to VJ, and login with your new account credentials.

My parents got me a new Birth certificate from France and I did again the translation, is that enough ?

Why did your parents had to get you new Birthday certificate? You didn't send an original to USCIS, did you? Also, translation have to be certified. We did self certified transaltion and it was good enough, but it should have some sort of certification statement on it.

Have any march filers got their Advanced Parole yet? I’m hoping people are just forgetting to update their timelines because every time I look at my timeline’s estimate for AP it’s been pushed back. It’s gone from June 11th to September 9th!

A thing to keep in mind, if someone gets GC interview, and approval, their EAD/AP applications get cancelled. I do not VJ is smart enough to take that into account, so even though they are no longer waiting for EAD/AP, the timeline keeps getting pushed back. But I do not believe I've seen any straight up non-expedite EAD/AP approvals posted so far.

  11. Some USCIS statistics while we wait.

Looks like I-485 processing sped up some, and they are actually processing more than they are taking in, unfortunately they barely making a dent into a huge backlog they have for family based I-485. Hopefully the speed up trend will continue.

On the other hand, should we be worried we haven't received an email from the embassy yet? Our case left on 6/11 and arrived 6/14 and 6/17 updated to ready. We scheduled interview for July 5, this is three weeks after case arrived. Everybody else I am seeing got an email within a few days of case arriving. Should I call embassy to confirm interview?

I would not be waiting on any e-mails from Embassy.  Did either of you submit the e-mail address to AskNVC? Beneficiary can call and confirm  that they are ready, no harm in that.

But while we're on the topic of interview 'through a window', is it easy to hear them (and them us) through the window???  You would think they'd have the interview in what I would call a more positive, personal environment.  Paying the guy for gas at the Circle K at 2 in the morning comes to mind.

Generally yes. It is not very private either, people sitting behind you, waiting their turn will likely will be able to hear you as well. Windows have loudspeakers, but they are not very consistent in "pushing the button": to activate them possibly because they  do want to keep their questions  to be somewhat private, or possibly because too much effort.  Unless things changed, you will be interviewed at window 12 or 13. Bring some coins with you if you get desperate for coffee, there is coin operated vending machine.

The embassy website singles out the Kyiv location on Ryzka Street for same day (actually, next day) service.  Of course, as TboneTX points out, so long as the stars are aligned properly.

It specifically says it doesn't expedite passport. Yes, WHEN Embassy is done with it, you can pick it up same/next day, but Embassy will not be done on same same day as you do interview. It will take them several days (about 5 in my experience) to hatch it before it gets to TMM after successful interview.

  15. You will be required to remove your belt, and any chapstick/lip balm you might be caring in your pockets, so size your shorts / trousers accordingly. Interview is not in a room but through the window, so your lower part of the body will not be visible regardless. Chapstic will returned to upon existing the Embassy, make sure your brand stands out. It is not a good way to get herpes.

  16. Accurate presentation of a typical Ukrainian printing set up. The ink bottles are my favourite part.

I would not count for next day delivery. They give you a note upon approval

oNQUEHG.png?1 and in my experience it is pretty accurate.  Same day pick up refers I think reference that AFTER place gets the visa packet it can be picked up on same day.. Maybe?

Just out of curiosity, has anyone read anything related to private social media accounts? I assume it would be taken as totally sketchy to put your handle down for an account you keep private. That really sucks for people who keep their accounts private for personal reasons. Or does Dept of State like... friend request you? lol.

Pretty sure if they are that curious they will just ask NSA to get information directly from the source.
