    Hi there!

Was wondering If sending a money order from a postal office works? This page confuses me: https://www.uscis.gov/forms/uscis-updates-fee-payment-system-used-field-offices

Even though it says that they only updated the payment system and got rid of money orders for "Field Offices" (I assume paying in person), I want to make sure that sending a money order from a Postal office still works. I'm assuming it does since it says so on the K-1 USCIS page. Thank you!

I would be careful of using Money Orders, as it will make it harder to track when USCIS takes money from it, or in case it goes missing.  I believe you can pay by credit card now if for some reason you do not have personal cheques.

I got the letter today for an RFIE for my wife's Birth Certificate, which we submitted with our packet. I wonder why they ask for another copy? Is it possible that they lost her BC? Her BC is not legible, could that be the issue? The thing is, the letter didn't say that her BC is not legible, just said we need to submit her BC....

Is she from England per chance? Was there a translation issue? Does it show both parents clearly?

If it's 33 honking degrees C on interview day for me, I might be like that witch at the end of the Wizard of Oz.

The inside I am sure will have HVAC, BUT they tend to make you wait outside for awhile before letting you in to go through security. (Wear easy to put on and take off belt btw) So be prepared for that. Also no chapsticks are allowed.

I am hoping when I arrive two weeks from now the weather moderates to some degree.  My Irish ☘️ blood handles things better when the weather is closer to spring or autumn.

It just 33C and 95% humidity, perfectly normal for first day of Summer in Kyiv :)
I am curious which box they checked on DS-3025. Btw, she doesn't need to bring vaccination or CD to the Embassy. I highly doubt anyone ever will look at those X-Rays.

    I 864 is not relevant to a K.

Yes, we all know that, it was hashed, rehashed over last 5 pages, except the fact that OP has a piece of paper with a thing circled explicitly requesting it. So it is relevant to this specific case. Was it a mistake? Most likely, yes, but it is not like he can go there in a person and clarify it, because everything about this process is made as difficult and as obfuscated as possible.
Why take a risk and get refused while being "technically right," instead of living in US with the loved one while giving them what they requested, and covering the bases of the mistake.

The first time I called, some lady didn't want to give me any update and talked about something else. Then I called again and directly and clearly asked "Could you confirm if you received my biometrics" and the person told me yes and also when they got it.

That is exactly what I did, with exactly same wording. After they confirmed it, I asked them to take a note that status on the Website is NOT updating for me, she said she would take a note of it. A few days later it is updated to "Ready to Schedule"  It NEVER showed any biometrics status for me. So I have no idea if that helped, or that was natural status change when case was transferred to local field office.

Is it wrong of me to think that she stopped halfway through circling the i864 part because she realised she had made a mistake, but wasn’t about to admit it?

Don't over think that. Get the transcripts, have your cosponsors fill out (again) both I-134 and I-864, they are not hard to do, and those transcripts are evidence that goes with them. Print signature page of both, sign it, then send you PDF and scan of 4 signature page 2 for I-134, and 2 for I-864. Print them all out, substiture signature page from PDF for scanned copies, then submit the whole thing with all 4 forms, and have them sort it out. I believe as long as they will have transcripts showing enough income it should be enough.

    Already started 🙈

With all the arguing back and forth about which form, please do not miss the important part. They want Tax transcripts. Lack of tax transcripts, is what kicked that whole thing of, not wrong form. So make sure both of your co-sponsors go to https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript and get transcripts for "Income Verification" for last 3 years.

She claims she discussed it with them but she didn't get a copy of the DS-3025 today.

Oh, ok so she does need to go back next day. I thought they managed to complete entire thing in a single day. Yes, I am positive she will get it tomorrow along with her X-Ray CD, and sealed packet to take to Embassy. Obviously you can have her scan/take picture of DS-3025 for your records.

My fiancee had her medical exam today at Medikom.  Everything went great.  And she had great things to say about Medikom.  Nice facility, polite staff.  Medikom comes highly recommended by us.

Good news. Was she able to DS-3025 with correct box completed? How did it go with vaccinations?

I think we are headed to the NVC as the young man told me the other day ! I understand there is a embassy fee is that what you are referring to ! As a mrv ?

    Here

    https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ua/ua-niv-paymentinfo.asp

Have her print out a slip, and take it to nearest Reiffheisen bank

Oh and she has to pay in Hryvnas, not in dollars. 7420 as of today, that might change, slip only valid until June 22.

Where can I get a copy to prefill out before opening the electronic mail ?

Do not fill out DS-260, the instruction you get from CEAC are a bit confusing at this point, she needs to fill out DS-160, and pay MRV fee at Raiffeisen bank. But you might want to wait a tad before doing that, I do not think your case at NVC yet.

We have considered and we plan on speaking to our attorney when fiancé gets here this weekend to address that possibility. We haven’t received the letter yet from USCIS as to why we were denied. Honestly, we are shocked because we had lots of good evidence and saved all boarding passes, pics and everything. -sigh- this process is so exhausting. We know this will work out some how. We want to make sure we do this correctly and go through all the appropriate channels.

I am about positive that denial is not due to evidence, but due to RFE. Hopefully you will hear something soon and will be able whatever obstacle they throw at you.

Does this mean when we appeal we have to start all over with new evidence? I have plenty since we see each other every few months but this is breaking my heart. His heart , too. We both feel lost and like we did everything right and now it set us back. I hate when people ask when the wedding date is because we can’t determine that yet as much as we wish we could.

Have you considered doing just that, getting married, and then filing CR-1?
And were you able to find out why you were denied specifically?

Yes I asked him he said not yours ! I told him then maybe you should remove it ! He didn’t say

    if he would !

Did you accidentally add WAC to USCIS tracker app, or to a website? Then you can remove it yourself. Otherwise I am not quite sure where you found this mystery number.

The first person he answered the phone asked all questions! To verify then asked for number

    and he told me !

You mentioned before you had 2 different receipts? (WAC numbers?) where did the 2nd one came from? And congrats, hopefully the transfer from USCIS to NVC will go smoothly for you.
