I don't believe this is an issue to be concerned about.  Junrey's passport was stamped 10/23 but I-94 reports 10/24.  He arrived around midnight in Houston and I believe is the reason for the difference.  He has had no issues so far.  He has received SSN. Applied for AOS the first part of January and status is now "Ready for Interview".

You did the right thing. Don't listen to these people on here telling you otherwise. This is one lie..what others are there especially when you asked him a direct question (The USCIS asks a direct question).
Best thing is move on..(easier said than don sometimes).

Good thing that you investigated him. It shows you are not an idiot. What smart person doesn't do their research about the person they are supposed to spend their life with, especially when dealing with someone who hasn't been honest about to you and on their application. Now you can make an informed decision.

My fiancé picked up his visa on Friday Oct 12th  (2GO Mall of Asia where he requested in application) after receiving an email from 2GO.  The tracking status at 2Go never changed from "invalid".   I tried his passport number, MNL#, application number and they are all invalid.  Is the 2GO location the one you requested in your application.  Have you looked up the location on the 2GO website.

We are gay... so yea...no discrimination but again us perhaps saying "We plan on adopting one day if we can be together" wouldn't have any leverage either on the process when we went through it. So people having kids and using that as "evidence" or proof, is discriminatory against all gay couples then. So see, shouldn't be used and really isn't.... I  couldn't care about that personally, we are more than happy with our overly needy akita anyways.

Thought I would share the embassy review I posted this morning.
Junrey's interview was 9/24/2018. I attended with him. I thought we were well prepared and had everything in order. I was wrong. This was an adventure.
Couple of things first. Everything at the embassy was well organized, professional, and friendly.
The appointment was scheduled at 6:10AM and we lined up around 5:45. We had the appointment confirmation that allowed us to get in line, but we did not have the application confirmation. Junrey had completed the application so I was unfamiliar with the confirmation page that had his picture on it. They gave us the website to get it and gave us until 9:00AM to come back with it. I had rented an Airbnb condo across the street and so we went there to get what we needed. Junrey saw the document online and said "I've got that". We had it all along. So back to the embassy (7:30AM). Got to go to front of the line. We were then allowed into the embassy and waited our turn for pre-interview. In the pre-interview stage it was determined that some how Junrey had paid for a K1 visa but attached it to the tourist application he had made 2 years prior. She was confused how he did, but needed a K1 visa application. She gave until 10AM to get a K1 visa completed. Back to the condo (around 8:30AM at this time). We started to complete the online application (very slow if you are in hurry). About half way through a message was issued "timeout - click ok to continue for additional 20 minutes". It timed out anyway. We could have accessed that application if we had written it down. We started over, but immediately wrote down the application number. We finished the application and fortunately I had his picture to upload into the application on my laptop.
It is now 9:15AM but no printer. Saved confirmation page to USB memory card and went to find printer. The computers were out at the first internet shop we found. We found a print shop in the next block that was able to print it out for us. Back to the Embassy, bypassed all the lines and to the pre-interview window. A USB memory card (I didn't have on first time through) is not allowed in. US citizens are allowed to check in electronic devices by going through a different door. I gave them my driver's license and the usb that I picked up on the way out. Cleared pre-interview window. Then finger printing of Junrey. Then wait for interview. Interview questions: (Junrey was extremely nervous) How did you meet? When did you first meet in person? Wedding plans? Junrey said we would get marriage license and get married the next week. CO wanted details of the wedding. Some how Junrey couldn't verbalize that it would be courthouse wedding with just the 2 of us. Tell me something that just you and your fiancé know? CO then said "I'm going to recommend approval". I believe that the statement "Recommend approval" vs. "Is approved" puts you in administrative processing. We were in "Administrative processing" for 10 days with status changing to "Issued" on October 4th.
Overall the embassy went out of their way to help us and we were able to get it done.

We will now schedule CFO class and book airfare as soon as visa is in hand

I believe that they are wanting a document with your MNL# on it.  The email you receive from NVC stating that they received an approved I-129F petition has the MNL# on it.  I believe others are taking a screenshot of the ceac status screen which also shows MNL#.   Follow the guidelines on this page. http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html   Scheduling of interview is after making DS160 application,  paying fees. Medical exam at St. Lukes is done at least one week prior to interview.

Stop reading the news, especially certain left leaning ones who promote fear and anxiety over nothing. If you see majority of the sob stories of GC's being deported, the title will be a heart string pulling one, but deep in paragraph ten of the article they will mention some crime that made them deportable (drugs, sex crimes, ect).

If you obey the laws and do things like you should, then you'll be just fine. The laws for the most part are still the same now as they have been for decades. Main difference, finally those laws are being enforced.

Do a fast wedding civil ceremony at the courthouse as soon as you can, so you guys can start sending the papers for AOS (after receiving the  official marriage certificate). And then you can do a wedding religious ceremony later on.

Just thought I would provide update of our status
We received NOA2 notice on July 27th.   I called NVC 3 weeks later and they provided the NVC (MNL) number.  Didn't have to say why I was calling.  They asked for WAC number and then asked identification info of petitioner and beneficiary.
At that point I was able to check status at https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx  .  Status at that point was "At NVC".   About week later received email notice that case was being sent to Embassy in Manila.  Status changed to "In Transit".  A few days later the status changed a few days later to "Ready".
Junrey's will have medical exam on  9/10 - 11 and interview is scheduled 09/24 at 6:10am.  I'm flying to Manila to attend the interview with him.  Getting closer.

The beginning of the year they changed from "sometimes sending P3" to now it's on the website and we will email you if we have your address. BUT, you are exactly right - for the Philippines you do not have to wait for any correspondence from USEM. Do just as you are.

I don't know if you have this information or not but here it is just the same.

Once you receive your case number it's time to be in charge of what time you choose when things get done. To smooth that trail for you I have a few things that will help you process your visa there in the Philippines.

Start by visiting Hanks site where he has taken the time and research, and of course it helps if you spent 8 plus years helping folks in the Philippines sub-forum get their visas, where he has listed each step. With those steps he includes the what, when and why to completing the item. Many have used the website and have had little or NO problems securing a visa from USEM.
    http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html
Next you'll want to connect with those who are processing through the Philippines in the VJ Philippines sub-forum that way you will be with like minded ppl who are sharing their experiences and also asking and answering questions. Since most in this thread are processing through another country they would be hard pressed to explain what is needed for the Philippines.
    http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/
You'll find this on Hank's website but I will give it to you early and that is the Packet 3 Letter for USEM. It's found here:
    https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/
Here is the Packet 3 letter.
    https://ph.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/82/2016/08/K1-and-K2-Applicant-Interview-Preparation-Instructions-08112016-English-336KB.pdf
There you have it. Everything you need to get your visa. Good luck and smooth sailing.
