It would appear he’s lost his green card according to the OP. 
 
When you say lost, what have you done with regard to reporting it lost? My understanding is that if you don’t have it in your possession you will have to file an I-90, and depending on how it came to be lost, possibly file a police report.

Hahaha there are those who wish to submit even before the window is open. They just can't wait. The moment it's 12:00.01, they hit send not even thinking about timezones. One thing I've learnt is USCIS doesn't care about timezones.  
I just don't understand why it's difficult to wait a few days.

1. Someone asking for information well in advance so as to prepare and
2. Someone asking why they cannot submit when they are not yet eligible or right at midnight when they are.
 
And then there are those who just submitted their application and then start calling USCIS for receipts etc. Sometimes I empathize with those agents.

You guys can remarry. He can file to remove conditions using divorce certificate.  You have no part on it anymore 

What @Luckycuds is saying is so simple. You are going to do all the legwork. It's not like you're just gonna pay the lawyer and he'll dig out your addreses, SSN, DOB etc. He'll give you the paper and you go fill it out and bring it back. The he gives you a list of things to bring back as evidence......what does that mean? You did all the work. So why not cut him off and use the guide posted above....it's like going to the mechanic and the mechanic sits aside and tells you what to do then charges you as if he did the work himself. If you had a step by step manual from GM on how to fix your Ford, wouldn't you rather follow that and fix your car on a weekend rather than pay a mechanic? 
 
Btw, those step by step guides given to you have been used by many people here on VJ without any problem. They also contain what list of evidence you can submit....Finally, you'll be wasting more time going back and forth with the lawyer in terms of verification while in actual sense, you can just submit the application yourself ASAP as soon as you're done. And if you have any questions, ask VJers...just my 2 cents @smpcole
 
Proving a genuine relationship?? Easy..Tickets, itinerary, pictures etc. Someone here did like 4 pictures on a printing paper and submitted like 5 printing papers (= 20 pictures total). You don't need to submit everything on the list but the best that you have. I just gave you a free answer which a lawyer was gonna charge your massively..

You're making a mountain out of an anthill....just take the simple definition. Have you guys had sex after marriage? That's all USCIS may need. Don't make it difficult for yourself by asking what it means legally, religiously, economically etc....😄😄😄

And you believe the bolded? It's more like she found out late that she's pregnant but couldn't terminate at that point. So the best thing was to cook up a story before you came to Russia that "she should be grateful about the pregnancy." Trust me, you and her will get pregnant again and it'll be termed "a miracle."
 
I bet you the initial plan was to hide it from you, not mention the kid anywhere, migrate to US then either:
 
1. divorce and go back to get the kid or on 25th Dec be like
2. "Hurray. I have a kid, you know. His name is Dimitri. That's your 2021 X-mass present, babe. "
 
However, they only came clean because somehow they may have found out those plans lead to a dead end if the child isn't mentioned NOW on the K-1 process. We've seen people who hid their kids and wives, married US citizens, then divorced to go bring the aforementioned. However, USCIS hits them with reality and they come on VJ asking how to remedy the situation.
 
I guarantee you that if the 2 plans mentioned above would work, you would have gone to Russia to find a well maintained 'gym' body. She would have silently given birth, given the kid to family or the guy for keeps and hit the gym ASAP before your arrival. You would have been so happy she maintained herself for you while you were away, not knowing the dirt behind the curtains.

I would advise you not to do it. What'll happen while you're at work? Have you been supporting her financially,  because if that's the case, then she was enjoying your $$$ with they baby daddy.
