In all fairness, I'd be a little upset too if I was forced to pay for the cable, speeding tickets and car payments for a 25 year old adult.

if you feel that you are being taken advantage of, then you need to seek out a divorce attorney, her constant threats to deport you would in my opinion be considered mental abuse. When married and in a relationship I feel there is a requirement to help out with house expenses but not to cover expenses for grown children that at their age should be able to fend for themselves.
If you feel strongly enough get out, cut clear and live your life happy.

Once you have 10years GC, she has nothings to do with deportation...she only threatening u.. People does that here, once they feel like you are not doing thing for their selfish ego.

There is a waiver for meeting, but this is nearly impossible to obtain. I don't think I've ever seen a successful case of it, and I think some of the even more senior members have only seen it like once or twice. Itr's a waste of several months of time and $535 filing fee to try.
Only realistic option is to meet in person. That may be soon (if she got a US visa) or it may be in years, but that's the process.
There's no issue marrying on a tourist visa.
There's a major issue (fraud) to enter with intent to stay.
Edit: Also, be sure your criminal history 1) isn't an issue for petitioning somebody, 2) she is aware of the details as they may ask her about it, and 3) you have proper documentation for when you can petition her.

Really? Did they say anything in the interview? I thought you get the green card in like a week, two at the most when approved. Have you reached out? Maybe it was "lost" in the mail.

Canadians can travel visa free into the US for 6 months. Only non-Canadians and people with problems have to apply for a visitor visa in Canada.

Hey guys!
Look what I woke up to!
I got a text message from USCIS and when I checked it was that my card is being produced!
The new website still does not reflect that though.

Annoying indeed! I actually sent my documents within the 60 days mark but they registered it 3 days later! How frustrating...
oh well it is an easy fix and in the grand scheme of thing not worth worrying too much!
let’s stay positive and hopefully I get my approval as a Christmas gift :).

I did not submit my AOS within 60 days of my medical. My medical for K1 was May, and I submitted 11 September. That is far from 60 days.
I had an officer who asked for an updated medical, but when I mentioned I filed within a year, he double checked those dates and said ok. I was approved on the spot.
I don't know what that officer thinks, but that is not how it works for AOS from K1. He is now spreading wrong info around to others.
But it WAS mentioned that not all officers know the actual rules, so I guess you ran into them. There is no use going against them, of course.

Well as someone whos going through this process LEGALLY. I get so upset reading your posts. Ive been waiting almost 1 year to move legally to the US (and other people wait even longer than that). Since my K1 petition ive been to the US 3 times and would have had the chance to just marry and adjust my status, BUT i didnt do it because i wanted to do it the right way and didnt want to break laws.
People like you make immigrating AND visiting the US so much harder, because the officers think "well another one thats just gonna stay here illegaly".
I really really hope someone can report you and your family since you put your city, state and original country on here.
You get upset and rude because people tell you, what youre doing is against the law and also not allowed on this vj forum, so childish honestly.

There are terms of service which prohibit discussion of any process to illegally gain immigration benefits. Overstaying a visitor visa is illegal.

awww so you are already familiar with breaking the law.
so why come here and ask a question you already know is against the law?

I couldn't even try to tell you that you are ready for any kind of relationship even if a gun was held to my head.
You did exactly what you did before she came. You went over a deal breaker list, she checked some off, you just dealt with it while internally disliking it. You don't tell her that you don't want to do this anymore.
Then you tell her your feelings (that you want to break up) and within 24 hours REOPEN the door for her to stay and try to make the relationship work if SHE wants to try. Will it be her fault when she's hurt after a few months? "Well I told you I didn't think it would work!"
And then you're just going to chalk this up to experience? The purpose of the K-1 visa is NOT to see if ya'll work out together, the purpose of marriage is NOT to see if ya'll work out together and neither of them are NOT to have fun memories in the US.
No one thinks your a good guy at this point, and honestly at this rate I don't think anyone could believe you're trying to make lesser mistakes because you can't even commit to breaking up with her. You're not being honest with her and now you are stringing her a long.
Do you still plan on marrying her? If she stays past her 90 days she will be out of status, she HAS to apply for AOS after marriage to at least have limbo status or she can be deportable. The worst part is, is that if ya'll married and went for AOS, it would be the USC that's the scammer!

900 and 1000 years to wait for an interview is about what it feels like I think.

Looks like some very, very bad data was entered by some members. Specifically, Italy and Jamaica (60901 and 36560 days on avg...).

I hope your notion of "hooking up" is not what the rest of the world knows as hooking up lol.
Just end it right now. You know full well this isn't happening. She still has hope if she decided to stick around, so you have not explained it clearly enough.
I am sarcastically certain that she will have so many happy memories of the time she left everything and everyone behind and moved for a man who never wanted her in the first place but didn't bother making it clear enough.
