Interview Was Scheduled January 11, 2022
Interview date will be March 1, 2022.
 
I am so excited I could scream. I wasn't expecting it to be this fast as it showed an estimated completion time of 15 months on my USCIS page. I have already ordered some flash cards on amazon to help me prepare for the questions I may be asked. This journey is almost over and I am so grateful to God.

Interview went well today. After an hour got an update from case tracker that new card is being produced. Citizenship next 👍🙏

I had my interview today as well. It went for like 15 minutes then after 10 minutes I got a notice from the case track card is being produced. Good luck everyone

I just received letter that my interview for my 10 year green this coming Tuesday. The only thing that stressing me out is I don’t have any suits to wear. I have dress shirt and pants. Someone told me that I should wear business casual. Been looking online but for asian like me its all big for my size…

We wore jeans to our AOS interview.

Dress shirt and pants is business casual.  Business formal  would add a jacket and tie.   Try an actual bricks and mortar retail such as a used clothing shop (e.g. Goodwill Industries).

Good.  Bring a rock solid case to your interview

There's no actual dress code, so wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.

We attended an AOS interview on the way to go camping.  There is no requirement to dress up.

what he actually asked for, original marriage certificate and drivers license. 
 
what we brought:
 
original marriage certificate 
original birth certificates.  Mine to show proof of U.S. citizenship. 
 
Updated documents of what We filed. 
 tax returns, bank statements, same insurance policies at the time we filed to show they were still intact.  Screen shots of Facebook postings that showed dates and locations of us together with family and friends throughout the past 2 1/2 years since filing.

interview lasted about 10 minutes
ask each of us our name, birthdate, and current address.  

how we met.  Where we got married. What date we got married. How long we knew each other before marrying.  Did I ever travel to my wife’s country (Philippines). 
 
as he asked those questions and we answered, he was going thru our 751 packet we submitted. 
 
IO was super nice and courteous. 
 
after the interview is where he asked if we had any documents we’d like to add to our file.  We have him 2019 and 2020 tax returns. And the Facebook screen shots.   
 
He told us everything looks great and he’d be in if he needed anything further. And to expect his decision in the mail in 2-3 weeks.  

Same here, just received update yesterday that they scheduled my interview. Im from Tacoma Washington. Hopefully itll be for second week of January. We’re visiting family in texas on the 30th and wont be back on Jan 7,2022

Business casual.  We dressed as if we were going to a job interview. 

Option 2 is your only choice until you have had your Green Card for 5 years.
