implife reacted to Alabamak1 in Money and immigration
i think you are overthinking the transfer of money. concentrate on the other parts, like time you guys spend together on trips and other activities. apartment leases and mortgages. utilities payments. i mean bona fide marriages are a group of evidences put together.

For bank statements, provide a range that covers ~ a year (a statement from every third month, for example). USCIS wants to see that you have been financially stable, and didn't deposit large sums of money last minute.
Ask your HR for a letter. It should include the duration of employment and your salary.
Obviously, W-2 is not signed, but your tax return form is. They want to see both. According to the phrasing, tax transcripts are the second option.
Your goal here is to demonstrate financial stability and independence.

implife reacted to Marco&Bettina in I-751 Sworn Affidavit, required now?
We included 0 affidavits and will provide none unless we get an RFE asking for more evidence.
Edit: There is some misinformation floating in this thread. The letter of extension does not mean that you are approved for 10-year GC. It merely means they're allowing you a stay in this country and ability to work while they adjudicate your case. Yes, you may or may not receive an RFE. Also, case may be approved or denied. Additionally, the process is currently taking longer than 1 year to process, even without RFE's. They are way behind. Therefore, near the end of your year, you will need to request another extension letter.

Three posts of a bickering/insulting nature have been removed.
Folks, this legal-immigration process is dysfunctional at best and broken at worst. Please remain unfailingly supportive of each other. Remember that if you hold one pencil and snap it, it will break; conversely, if you hold a handful of pencils and try to snap them, they'll remain undamaged. There's strength in numbers.
Remember, too, that those of us who are finished with this infernal process are hoping and praying for your progress almost as intensely as you are. You're not alone, and you're never forgotten. Take comfort and find renewed strength in this.

We had an AOS interview, too. Just follow instructions. Don't worry; you'll be fine.

Yeah, we all get it. However, it's not us that you (or your friend) will have to convince.
My vote is for the language camp.

At my USC interview, when asked why I wanted to become a citizen, I said: to travel with an American passport.

Yeah. I'm going to wait until after our third meeting to file (I'll be meeting my Anastasia's family in May), so I'm hoping things are better in Moscow by 2019.

implife reacted to rogerlo in Change photo on certificate of naturalization
My wife had applied her N400 online and got Biometrics 2 days ago. We didn't know the photo was taken during biometrics that will be on her Certificate of naturalization. She is very upset because she was taken the photo without any make-up and it was looked very bad. Does anyone know that she can bring another photo and ask for change during interview?

Or vote against him. He's an embarrassment. Unfortunately, she's in California, so because of the stupid electoral college her voice wouldn't matter.
