My wife had applied her N400 online and got Biometrics 2 days ago. We didn't know the photo was taken during biometrics that will be on her Certificate of naturalization. She is very upset because she was taken the photo without any make-up and it was looked very bad. Does anyone know that she can bring another photo and ask for change during interview?

The same thing happened to me. And I did ask at the interview and brought better photos. And they still used the photo from biometrics anyway.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Don't worry too much for the certificate picture... you will NEVER  use the certificate, it will be stored with your papers and you will only use it ONCE to get your first passport (and of course, you can select any picture you want for the passport).

Then you can use your passport as proof of citizenship for anything
